I, too, have had this problem on Fences 2 & now 3 on Windows 7. Can NOT move icons from where they are on screen. And fences wants to move my icons randomly to where it thinks they ought to go, which isn't anywhere near where they ought to be. Very dissatisfied.

That is not right. I haven't been able to get Fences 2 to work on Windows 7 yet. I mentioned this earlier, but got no reply. I am now trying Fences 3 and it is doing the exact same thing - can't move icons on screen (had to disable it to do that), and it randomly moves icons to where it thinks they ought to go without my intervention. So Fences 2 & 3 do NOT work on my Windows 7 64-bit machine. I have tried them on my laptop as well, and I get the same result...they do
I took of all my AV programs, but still wouldn't work. I also have a laptop which has the same problems. And I have another installation of Windows 7 and it doesn't work with it either. And there are numerous other people that have had problems with Fences not working on Win7 64-bit. So I think it is a problem with the program, not necessarily my machine when so many others have experienced the same problems for the past 2-3 years.
Yes, but the problem occurred even before I installed 360 Security when I had AVG.
Just bought Fences 2.13 and it won't work on Windows 7 64-bit. In fact when I installed it, it messed up my icons on my desktop and I cannot move any of them anywhere. When I uninstall Fences, the icons can be moved again. Any solutions? This problem has been going on for quite a few years, and still no solution is offered by Stardock.
Fences used to work with my Win7 64 bit machine, but I can no longer get it to work on either my desktop or my laptop. When I enable fences (which is the only way that I can create a snapshot of my icons), it will not let me move any icons on the screen to a new position (they are locked in place). When I disable fences, I can move my icons around wherever I want. This used to not be a problem, but now is. I have downloaded and tried the latest version (2.13)., Do you have any
