Thanks for the replies. Technically I can switch off UAC, just not allowed to for security reasons. Although I can't see why this should be a problem once Fences is installed & running - what would it be trying to do that required authorisation while I'm in Word or Excel? emailed support now. cheers Phil
Hi all, running Windows 7 Enterprise - 64 bit had problems getting Fences running - multiple reinstalls & reboots and running installer as admin etc. Eventually got fences running when I set compatibility mode to Windows 7 - even though I'm running Win7!?!?!?
