I am also having the same problem on Vista 64 SP 1. Are there any solutions?

I checked out the site. Looks good to me. Clean, simple, easy to navigate. Since I'm not a programmer I like this idea and it will make a great repository to find scripts and help.
Getting error on update, My Colors does not support 64 bit for windows. Hmmmm.
OK, tested update, scripts appear to be working, (yeah). Export to sidebar gadget it not for Vista 64,and neither do the performance meters 2.
This is just a heads up on the problems I'm haveing. Installed 3.50.058 via stardock central. This version does not show in Impulse. Export as windows sidebar gadget does not work in Vista 64. Performance meters still not working correctly in Vista 64. Is there another update coming?
Today I have installed Vista SP1 RTM and then tried to test DesktopX 3.49 rc. The results have surpassed all of my expectations - IT ALREADY WORKS!!! (The minor bugs are not corrected but the standalone and Sidebar gadgets, DX widgets as well as DX Builder are really works) But there is one thing you need to do for this - adjust the UAC through Stardock Tweak Vista: 1. Press "Security" button. Then select the "Medium-low security" item into the "Overview" tab. 2. Go to "Advanc
32 bit mode is fine, as long as they run i don't care. but i remember wb6 wouldn't run at all in vista x64 at the start. so thats what i'm trying to avoid.
Hope this helps also. I have the following Stardock apps running on Vista 64. WindowBlinds 6 IconPackager TweakVista ObjectBar Desktop X (with minor issues - not all the plugins work correctly) Skin Studio ObjectDock Plus Right Click SoundPackager Component Tray
First thanks to all the Master Skinners and Zubaz. This was some of the best reading in a long time. Here are a some questions for the next round? How long does it take to complete a skin? Which Stardock app do you prefer to skin and why? What do you think is the hardest part of windowblinds to skin?
I agree with Einstein. This is my speed and would love to see more simple tutorials like this. I can follow along and it makes sense to me. Please give us more.
Thanks Frogboy, I'll give it a shot when I get home tonight. Thanks for another great product.
Great news. How soon can we excpect a Vista 64 build?
I have sent an email to support. I will wait to hear from them unless anyone can answer before than. Aufisch, I'll let you know when I hear something from support.
I'm just looking for information and/or answers on a few items for Vista 64. 1. DexktopX created sidebar gadgets do not run. They always show error stating, Problem accessing DesktopX Sidebar-framework. This is running the latest beta 3.49r[rc].017. Is this fixed for the next RC? 2. Stardock Virtual Desktop does not work, unless it is used as a plugin for Objectbar which seems to work great. Is there a planned time or update
Wanted to let you know I have not had any problems over the last couple of days. Looks like you got it fixed. Thank you very much.
It seems to only be happeing for me on the forums.
I was reading this post again and happened to notice the date of the original post was August 1, 2007. We are coming up on two months with this problem. Do we have an approximate date of when this will be fixed?
Is there any progress on this as I am still having this issue.
Still having the problem IE version 7.0.6000.16512. I did find out if I log off then go to the forums log back in, then it will let me in until I go somewhere else on the site then it has problems again. Thanks for working on getting this fixed.
This looks like a great addition to the already great apps. I wanted to check before I install it, if it works on Vista 64 or has anyone tried it on Vista 64. Asking since the web site says Vista (32).
Yes, I am. I was really hoping it was fixed in this release. I really love this app.
No, I did not but I will now. Thanks Z.
