Still no fix for this problem. This happens with grid view turned on on the desktop but not auto arrange.

Fences does not work correctly when you put taskbar on top on your desktop (position on screen). Bottom row of icons on desktop is left empty and upper row of icons is shifted one row down on top of icons in the second row. Any solution? OS is Win 7 64bit but it's the same on Vista 64bit. Fences is v1.0 but it was the same with the betas.

...in my case, caused by Eset Smart Security Real-time file system protection. I've seen people complaining about this problem on few forums. Solution is to exclude %appdata%\fences from realtime protection in you AV.
