You have the 32 bit beta installed on a 64 bit system. Un-install it and install 5.49b .23. Tried, same thing happens, still says its the x86 version (32 bit). I have the newest version of SDC. Yes I see what your saying about the versions and the dates under "history". Any way to direct download the correct version of windowblinds as I seem to be getting the old version no matter which build I download using stardock central (or at least getting old .dll files)? As for my picture, all it shows is the WbSrv.dll in the wb folder dated 10/9/2006 (the correct date for build 5.1). Maybe I am having a problem with wb recognizing the correct file?
I've unistalled and re-installed version 5.1 (instead of the 5.49... beta) and still have the same problem. Also, stardock central still installs the same Wbsrv.dll (march 17, 2006). Also, it switches back to the windows classic theme even when I log out of my account and log back in, it is not limited to restarts. I recently installed and purchased object desktop, and installed the newest version of Windowblinds. I can install skins fine, and they work fine, but when I restart my computer it reverts to the windows classic skin (no skin). This is the first time running into this problem, as I have run windowblinds perfect on this same computer for over year now (just renewed object desktop subscription). The only thing I have changed is that I am now running windows xp pro x
I seem to be having the same problem with wb. Mine is purchased, so I doubt it has anything to do with his being a trial.
This ruling is complete idiocy. What's next? How about Nero with their DVD burning software? After all, under the latest Supreme court train of thought, since you're using the company's software to illegally copy movies, surely the company will be held liable. This is a completly idiotic ruling. How far is it going to go? Sue the car companies for liable because their products allow consumers to drive faster than the posted speed limit?
