What's happened with wincustomize. in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

Hey everyone I just wanted to see what others were feeling about wincustomize in the last 2 years or so. My opinion, is that wincustomize has lost its luster. It seems that this site has also lost the quality and uniqueness that it once had. You hardly ever see great D work anymore, and one of a kind work. I miss seeing work done from adni18, Apocalypse 67, boxxi,Green armani,jrsaldana,queezendorf. Go and look at their work. These guys are what made wincustomize fun to not only upload to thi

well voodoo its been great for me and the ads thing, i dont know what your talking about. download spybot and the ads will go away. its a great program and you will see a differece.

this site is great!!! right now though they are switching servers and the site is down. when it comes back up, you HAVE to see this site. forget DA, theme xp.org is awesome and there are great great wwalls, logons, etc etc. dont forget to check this out. WC need some work in my opinion. the way things are done these days, is idont know what to exactly say. the wallpaper section is getting a little different. the quality and originality is getting to almost nil. this is my opinion. jus

apocalypse, you inspired me to do some of my work and man, i hate that your gone, but hey things change and WC has changed dramatically. i dont know whats going on here but this site has lost the heart and soul of quality walls these days. the originals are hardly ever seen and when i started here 2 yeasrs ago, the wallpaper library was at 1516, now look at it, its huge and the walls have gotten less quality and character. also no one seems like they are original anymore except for a few.

i have to agree with you adni. the wallpapers would be a cool idea to have in a seperate thing so the people can judge them and keep them on the main. i also think that WC is accepting some walls that arent the quality that WC was in the past. when i first started here (which was about 2 years ago) the walls were outstanding and very unique, and different, different then what i have ever seen before, now the walls are getting sloppy to me and are just meteocor. i am not judging anyone, just
