I've had a couple of problems with 1.09R regarding monsters attacking cities. I created a city, and I moved three injured troops into the city. Then one turn later I moved a fourth champion into the city. Then I pressed end turn. Monsters attacked the city and BUG1: Only the first three troops showed up in combat, including my soverign After Combat my Soverign was returned to my capital but BUG2: The city was still there a

I usually have a soverign or hero with 4 MP and then a smaller mobile army with 3MP kind of shadowing him, lagging behind. The 4MP guy does most of the exploring and then when he find something too tough he merges in with the 3MP stack to take it out. After you research the first equipment tech you can get these 4MP scout type guys and those are awesome for exploring. Finally, once you get RETURN you can use your soverign and go deep into uknown territory. </

Simple question. In the current 1.1 beta build o or p or whatever is the most recent, is the experience DIVIDED between all friendly combatants or is it GRANTED 100% to each combatant. In other words, If you can win the battle with a Champion and 1 peasant, should you avoid going into it with a champion and three peasants? Will this reduce the amount of XP that the champion gets?

I like the current level of npc creatures, even at the beginning. The superstacks of spiders you get early as turn 3 don't really attack your cities,, so who cares if they ware wandering around. But I agree that more monster spawning in the early mid game is desirable. I also do not like that you can channel so much magic in one combat. With the heal spell especially a lvl 1 champoin can fight an entire army with only a stone golem or level 3 familiar, especially if

I just noticed that since the 1.1 beta builds that it appears taxes are not subject to level up multipliers (20% Gold or 30% Gold) or building multipliers (like market). Can anyone confirm? I think it's totally fine so please don't change it, but wow, kind of a revelation. There really is no need to build those unless you have gold mines. Makes me take the "guardian units" more often now.... ----- Also, did you notice that you can create a city with n

The wandering monsters at this aggressive level are needed to keep the gamer interesting. And the goodie huts give LOTS of materials in this version, so it's easy to come up with 4-5 peasants as long as you are reasonable about your other buildings. I have been loving the beginning games and scaling back the creatures would get us back to the point where it's too difficult to level up your army. So far the balance seems right to me.

I have played for 2 hours and the only bugs I have found are references to "essence" in the hover text, and during some enemy attacks damage was dealt to me but I did not see the white number. I think every change is an improvement. I especially like that the NPC monsters move more intelligently and that there are more of them to fight in the early game. Also the combat information about chance to hit, etc is AWESOME! I also like that the population limits my bu

How about 5 lost libraries on the map, each one gives you double reserach for a particular area of reseach. Kind of like wonders of the world. If you have 10 research points from studys in your empire, then the "Warfare" lost library grants you 20 points per turn when researching warfare tech. And 6 (or however many spellbook types) of arcane temples as well, each
