I just bought a new laptop and I wish to deactivate Object Desktop on the previous laptop I have it installed on. How can I do this ?

Ive made a list of what I would like to see come back. Here is a complete list of what my Stardock Object Desktop should comprise of: What I use (and would like to see kept): Object Dock (please bring back the weather dock !!!) There was shadowing surrounding the windows in a stardock product back in the xp days. There were many shadow styles to choose from. I do believe shadow fx was the title. Or it may have been pat of windows fx. It deffinetly was during the Windows XP days this product or feature was available.

By the way - I am a loooooooooooong time Object Desktop user - going all the way back to January 2002. I never used a Windows OS without it since.

I dont seem to recall having ShadowFX available in Object Desktop when I reinstalled it onto my new Windows 7 build the other day. I dont think it came up in my Programs List in Object Desktop, because I was specifically looking for it. I looked in WindowsFX to see if it was included in that package. Great features that Windows FX has, but sadly, I did not find any shadowing in there when I looked.

Thanks. Do you know how to change them ? I am now using an NMVe Drive as my C Drive - OS bootup is record fast - so fast its booted up before the computer is powered. [e digicons]:grin:[/e] I want to change the default downloaded folder to the D Drive. I dont see how its done within Dreamscapes. Thanks.

Thanks to you both. I am on my way out and will check it out when i have time. Oh and by the way, can you change the default downloads folder to another location ? I just got an NMVe Drive as my main HD. I want to save space on this drive to the OS Drive only and have the downloads default to the D Drive.

Any word on when the Weather Docklet will be restored for Object Dock ?

A few months back, or maybe a year ago, the Weather Docklet no longer displays the temperature. It just says N/A. Is the weather docklet no longer supported ? I am using version 2.20 on Windows 7. I dont think its a firewall issue blocking it since I installed it onto a new PC before installing the Total Protection Virus Scan/Firewall that I use from McAfee. Thanks.

Hello. I downloaded numerous (hundreds ?) deskscape desktop wallpapers from Deskscapes. However, I only see just a couple of hundred of my downloads available for display in my Animated Folder. Is there a limit of how many Deskscape downloads are available for the user in this folder ? I am using Deskscapes 10. Thanks.

Hello. Is there a way to tell Deskscapes to download a deskscape into a particular folder or load your downloaded deskscapes from a folder for backup and restoration purposes ? This would help so that you can transport your downloaded deskscapes into another computer. Thanks.
