Downloading Deskscapes into a Folder Selection for backup and restoration

Hello.

Is there a way to tell Deskscapes to download a deskscape into a particular folder or load your downloaded deskscapes from a folder for backup and restoration purposes ?  This would help so that you can transport your downloaded deskscapes into another computer.

Thanks.

All your Dreams are located in C/Users/Public/Public Documents/Starcock/Dreams. Copy them to a backup folder on another drive or copy them to a thumb drive and transfer them to another computer.

Actually in that same Stardock folder is where all the Stardock skins are kept Iconpackager and Windowblinds. I back them up every so often.

Thanks.  Do you know how to change them ?  I am now using an NMVe Drive as my C Drive - OS bootup is record fast - so fast its booted up before the computer is powered.

I want to change the default downloaded folder to the D Drive.  I dont see how its done within Dreamscapes.

Thanks.

You could try: At the bottom of the DreamScapes config window it says Manage Folders, make a folder on your D drive and put the .dreams files in it and add it in your Manage Folders see if DreamScapes see's it.

All my Dreams are on a second drive E in different folders. I just add the folders to Manage folders in DS.

Works just fine.  Also have folder for mp4, avi, and wmv. Works too.

He wants the dreams to go to the external folder by default. So he doesn't have to move them. I don't know if that is possible.

I keep mine on another drive as well, but I have to move them there.

Hello,

The path is set where the Dreams go

but you can copy them to another drive for back-up.
