Added setting in the menu to set row count for tabs to set all the tabs in the group to the same height. On by default Nice I was hoping that would be added. sure makes it a lot easier. Thanks heaps great work guys/gals.

Would it be possible to add support for changing the row count for an entire group instead of each tab in the group? Also adding mouse resizing for groups would make it a lot easier than using a nested menu item.
Quoting Narusegawa Naru, reply 51 well technically anyone who purchased v1 after oct 1 will get a free upgrade Oh, right. Just rechecked the FAQs. My bad. Does this include Steam buyers as well? Also, I can't believe it's Oct. 28 now.
Can't wait to upgrade. "Everything integration" already has me sold. At the same time, I understand why some V1 users would be upset about this, esp. those who just bought V1. (I feel sorry for the guy who bought it just days before V2's announcement.) I'd suggest a bit bigger discount for the upgrade, but not sure if that's reasonable. I'd also suggest announcing V2 (as a separate product from V1) on Start11's Steam page to avoid

I thought 23H2 would be a free update for 22H2 installs
I bought a Start11 license at the end of august after 2 days trial. And now here comes V2, and if I want this update (yes, I will be happy to get these new features) I have to buy a full fresh license despite the fact I already bought one? No discount in sight for previous licensed users? Just some blabla about "Start11 V1.x should still work normally" (but BTW, let me guess, will you continue to update that V1.x v
Using S11v2B1 -- Changes to the Config/Visual appearance Fonts tabs are not "sticking". I have repeatedly set Item font, Header font and/or Menu font to 110%, 120% etc. but one or all often (but not always??) revert to "100%" after I close and then reopen Start11v2. I missed the fact that this was "Beta1" in the announcement, installing it before I realized that. I regret that. Calling this a "Beta" is being generous. Can
I can confirm the Font size issue. Also, I don't think the config app ever retained it's size.
It may not have and I'm just now noticing it. In any case I would like to suggest it. Several of the pages can grow fairly long and it shouldn't be too much work to add. That being said it's likely a low priority thing.
Damn let me also add that the Font sizes do not update properly. If you change the size to say 120% it updates and the size is always correct but reopening the config app will display 100% in the combo despite the text size actually being 120% Can anyone else confirm this or is this just another "me only" issue? EDIT: also the config app does not retain its size between sessions. EDIT 2: Out of curiosity what font is the "Default Fon
when you create a group on the far right side of the group you see the + and hamburger menu. click the + and select new tab. alternatively you can drag an existing group to another group and add it as a tab.
I installed over v1 the only issue was i had to reboot twice to get the option to manage the taskbar settings (which i personally leav eturned off)
Because this is a Major update not a Minor one. Major updates are not free and will require an upgrade purchase.
I can confirm the renaming bug for sure
Another bug displays the wrong menu style. To reproduce: 1. Select one of the new menu styles 2. Click on the configure menu button. 3. Click on the the "Start menu" portion of the breadcrumb on the top. At this point the Windows 7 style will be selected however the menu will display in the correct style. EDIT: I'm going to try a reboot because now it's selecting "Modern Style" each time. EDIT 2: Yep seems to fix it</
Nah the text just doesn't change. No matter what I rename it to.
Is anyone else having problems with renaming icons?
None of my monitors support HDR. I have tried several things but this has persisted for over a year so im not sure of all the steps i went through. It seems like i always end up with issues that noone else can find like with groupy so im stuck just living with it. what i find odd is that it only seems to happen with programs that only have a 16 or 32 icon. EDIT: For reference you can see that the image is also messed up in the all apps list as well <img s
I'm assuming you have already installed Start11 v2 . v1 does not have the features shown in that image. If so what you are seeing is several new features. I can help you with them one by one if you like. Please specify which part you're interested in.
1. Ver 22621.2428 2. Screen1: 5120x2880 @200% DPI Screen2: 3840x2160 @200% DPI 3. DPI == Scale factor (i.e 200% or Dots Per Inch). 4. Just default "Pin to start 11" icon 5. No the only fix I can see is to set the dpi to 250% which is where it was at when the icon was pinned. It would appear that pinning an icon and then switching to a smaller DPI causes it. Not sure if it does the same thing in reverse or not. I was thinking maybe there's an
can anyone help me with the problem at here .
That is what I meant. Either way it would be confused. One of those "Heads you win, tails I loose" scenarios. I think (personal pref only) just renaming it to Start then adding a version that doesn't need to follow the windows version would be better (again for me might not work for others). Something like Start v1,v2, .. You could even include the window version like Start v11.2, for win12 v12.1. Again there's no perfect method so most likely just keeping the current scheme wou
Also unless I'm mistaken (possible) v2 is basically a new version but still uses the Start11 name since it is still used for Windows 11. Stardock has always required a fee for major versions. Perhaps if they renamed it to Start12 it would have reduced the confusion on the update but likely would have caused confusion with the version naming scheme.
