Thanks for the prompt response guys, and also the additional info on the patch contents. I guess I'm just used to Blizzard's patch note leaks giving time to ruminate on the changes before they've been released to the wild.

I know it just went to QA last week, but do you guys have a rough ETA on when we should expect it?
Could you increase the importance of older planets? As it is now, losing a planet(but not the infrastructure around it) just isn't really punishing. The homeworld which I've had for 5 hours gametime should be better than some terran world I've had for 30 minutes. Tie it to something so that it is worth more than a 1 or 2 tax credits/sec and the cost of rebuying the infrastructure if it is destroyed.
Would there be any way to introduce the Total War General XP system into Sins? That is, contextual improvements based on the performance and actions of the ship? For example, if the ship survives a significant amount of hull damage it gets a "Better Hull- Due to the Captain's willful disregard of all sense, both military and common, the Chief Engineer and her repair crews have become unnervingly good at jerry rigging. +5% to auto repair" I mean abilities and levels War3 style
