why are pictures in a theme inside of program files/smallville/etc showing up in my desktop pictures in OS Customization WinCustomize Forums

I have a hacked uxtheme.dll I thought that pictures had to be in a certain place, maybe web/wallpapers to show up in the desktop wallpaper list Well, I had a theme in Program files/Plus!/Smallville (Only because they told me to put it there) and all the pics were showing up in the list. Anyone know why? But I just removed the theme and did as many did put it in Windows/resources/themes and they don't show up?? Hmmm</

having problem with new widgets in OS Customization Stardock Forums

I am having problem with some new widgets. Def like old Desktopx better. First, Is this the right place to ask questions about widgets? As far as the Slide Show framer goes. I have windowblinds and when I download a theme/appearance that has a wallpaper, I have that option checked, but they are still not being applied. Well, it is only one that had a wallpaper. Royal X's. The sound worked and the appearance, but not the wallpaper? Any ideas? What other themes come with wallpaper in windowblinds? thanks eric

Yes, thank you. I've tried deleting the widget and reloading it. I also uninstalled DesktopX and reinstalled it. It appeared the same way???? Too weird. Also, that desktopx icon, not the regular one, but the large one, what is that for? When I delete that and/or the large square with all the choices, how do I get that back? Slide Show in DesktopX JoeUser Forums

Just when I understood how you had to insert all the pictures in at one time. Apparently, I put in one that was not jpg or an allowable type. Now, I cannot put anything in and don't know how to reset the icon. I've deleted it, reopened it, restarted DesktopX, restarted the computer, I always get the picture frame opening up with a blank white screen and an error saying that I used a wrong filetype??? any ideas on how to correct this widget

I just got Window Blinds. I noticed a short time later that in my toolbar option there are a few questions that I have : 1) My default toolbar default icons are not showing is that correct? 2) I have 2 oft the exact same thing - default icon shell toolbar glyphs (green, etc) . Next, I did not however, understand you saying that StyleXP does not have themes. I can't seem to get the slide show frame to work that I put on my desktop. I double clicked on it, put in 30, waited 30 seconds then nothing happened. I tried 120, 160, etc NOTHING? How do you do it.
