Installed Alpha 4 over version 3.1.33 and had current version of Deskscape11 v.10.93 running. In the last version of Fences 3.1.33, the snapshot would be black if Deskscape was running. Now, with Fences 4 Alpha, there is simply no indication a snapshot was even taken. Update: Snapshot also does not work with Fences 4 Alpha even on Win11 x64 which never had *any* version of Deskscape installed (so it is unrelated to Deskscape). Windows 11, x64 OS.
Basj, You an update. I uninstalled Deskscape 11 (beta) and reinstalled it. And now that 'Disable Deskscapes' option does show up! And, using it works as you stated. Well, DskScpe is in beta, right? So, maybe this inconsistency will be corrected. (I do like the on/off slider that is available in WindowsFX if anyone is keeping track...since it is still in beta and all. Any further suggestions are welcome, but you have solved the current problem with Fences 3.9.
That sounds like a good idea - until I check on my options in Deskscape. I don't see any 'Disable' option. What version do you get to use? Mine says it is 'up to date.' Mine is V. 11 Beta 4. I uninstalled it and took a snapshot...and Fences displayed the snapshot just fine. So, where do I get the Deskscape with the 'Disable' option you show in your image? Basj, Yes, I do have Deskscape 11 installed. I uninstalled Deskscape (but did not remove/reinstall Fences 3.9.33 after uninstalling Deskscape) and the problem was still present....so I reinstalled Deskscape. Are the 2 compatible?
I have the same problem. Layout snapshots are solid black. I deleted old snapshots...that didn't help. Reverted to 3.09 - that didn't help. Reupdated to 3.1.3.3 and still have solid black snapshots. How to solve??? Any ideas?
Task View's new feature is not broken. Windowblinds does not play well with it. It will cause the activity history feature to hand. Please let us know when Windowblinds is updated to accommodate the changes.
