It's lovely, reminds me of Sundial from Aladdin Systems on steroids. I wish I could resize the animation object though (or toggle with F10), and remove the sig from the walpaper. Happily my TabletPC has no issues at all when the screen rotates from landscape to portrait (always a concern).

The enhancements in SP2 to the Tablet PC (Lonestar) are amazing. I didn't think I could have been more happy but I am. No issues or bugs, lots of Tablet PC love.
Disciples II: Ultimate Edition - 1.09 GB = "Smart Downloading" ? I love the totalgaming \.net concept and I'll renew my Drengin.Net to keep the games flowing . . . . but if 1 GB is bite size for you Brad, I need your connection! I was happy with Drengin.net for The Political Machine and Lightweight Ninja once in a while. I primarily subscribed because I believed in Stardock and wanted to give support. BaseGolf and Celtic Kings are ju
I don't think that the apps should be free. You work hard and should be rewarded for it. If there were no reward, where would be the purpose. (Don't pose that question to Sen. Clinton though. ) I would, however, like to know what is teh matrix that decides what's part of Object Desktop and what's not. Does my subscription get me a year's worth of upgrades of the OD apps when I purchased it, or do I ge
This is my fourth child and my fourth girl. (there's a seperate blog entry!). I know what I'm doing (as much as any dad can know before his kids move out). And I din't have any of these issues with the other one's. I had other issues then, and other issues now. But then; I didn't blog. And the other issues with the other girls don't have the immediacy of a crying baby. I know that this too, will pass. But right now . . . IT AIN"T PASSING FAST ENOUGH! ;-) Time to go to m
So there I am watching the kids while Susan is at work. She made sure they were fed and clean before she left. She gave us all a hug, stressed how important her work is and how far behind she is. Tells us that she loves us and heads out. Peace reigns. We coo. We sit up. We creep around a little. We play with little animals that crinkle or beep or play poorly digitized nursery rhymes. Now what to do with the NEXT ten minutes . . . Maybe a nap. Maybe the play g
My thoughts this time of night seem to center around the youngest. It wasn't always this way. I remember being centered on my wife. Maybe when the kids move out. Tonight's observation centers around the fact that the baby can come into the house in her mother's arms and flash a smile that could reboot a linux server. She giggles and coos and I am in love again. So I take her in my arms (the baby) and give her a smile in return. And she cries. I check to see if she is dry.
The baby is crying in the room next door. She's much more demanding than my last daughter. The last one would wake up and contemplate life with a zen-like attitude. This one . . . she wakes up and crys in a way that you know translates into "Pick my ass up!" But she is five months old and waking twice a night. The wife and I are fried. We are always tired and not being great partners. The other three girls are suffering too. It's nice that my boss is a woman who raised kids and u
It's funny how a life changes in little ways. Tonight it's my night for dinner. Before I was married this would not be much of an issue. First, every night was my night. No thought involved. And dinner was whatever I could afford. Now there are kids and a wife and I'm tired. And cereal, mac & cheese, or raman noodles are not staples. I think I can still get away with pizza though. Tonight I think I may make a potato, sun-dried tomato, red-onion pizza with smoked
