If I understand correctly what you want, you can set both primaries to connect to the secondary and achieve what you want. The KVM is immaterial.

I believe LogonStudio supported random logons in previous versions (like circa 2005).
Please email support@stadock.com so we can get some data to see what the issue is. Thanks. {I edited your title to help track it.}
Is the networked drive that MC is trying to play the secondary?
EDIT: It seems to be the firewall on the XP machine, even though it should be set properly
You adjusted the XP firewall manually and all is well? Was there an entry in the rules at all?
What options do you have selected?

Since SD is so mod-friendly, I'm hoping you'll make the UI moddable because I think people could do some really great things with it. It's probably been a mistake not having it moddable because you would have seen lots of great UI ideas coming forth from the community.
If you have Stardock's DesktopX you should take a look at C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock Games\FallenEnchantress\sc
Good post, good replies. I often times skip the tutorials in games because "I'm smart, I can figure this out" and then I get frustrated when I can't. I've tried thinking of a way to convince people like myself to run through the tutorial and haven't come up with great ideas . . . any thoughts? Could we call it something else? Offer a reward? Something else?
DX always took care of my gadget needs. Good info though.

Fences checks at run-time if the icons are there. If the network is slow to connect to the network share there may be issues with it not showign up. I'll pass this along to the devs. Snapshots may be your best option for now.

If you pre-ordered, you are not on a promotional mailing list . . you are on a pre-ordered list and your account email will be used. You can unsubscribe to the promo list and as long as you aren't sending Stardock email to your junk mail, you'll be fine.
What you are describing is not usual and likely a Windows issus and not a Stardock application issue. Having said that, file associations should be in place on installation and there should be no need to modify them through Windows. What caused you to set associations?
