Well its been awile.. LONG while. I don't know what made me come back. Oh! Yes I do I was looking for little-whip but this place has changed soo much. I haven't spoken to her in a long time and I'm concerned how she is doing. Anyone know? I know she made personal friends with some of you. Lets see.. as of late I have still managed to hold on to our home. My husband has joined the masses of unemployed. Thank goodness we were

I hear ya. Its been a struggle since we got this house. Well at first it wasn't soo bad, then the summer hit, then later the rain. Ah well. I just fret over losing it. I know we won't get what we owe on it. There are lots of problems with the homes around here and there is a ongoing lawsuit about these issues too. ah well. I don't mind apartment living, I just really like that I have a HUGE backyard our son can go run around in whenever he fe
Well I've been gone again for awhile. I've had a lot of stuff happen and I've been finding it hard to feel positive about anything lately. I didn't want to come on JU and whine and complain about how bad I think I have it. I know that there are plenty of people out there that have it much worse. I just feel like any luck we may have had in the past 5 years has come to
I have noticed that homework has gone up in elementary grades since my now 15 and 12 year olds were in school. I have a 3 almost 4 year old now. I for the moment am a stay at home mom. I guess it might get a little bit overwhelming if I were working. Coming home, tending to dinner, then helping with homework. I say when it comes to school, you do whatever it takes. My children would come home from school and I would sit both of them at the table. I wou
Sorry you are going through this. I know how you feel, I've been pulled back in forth and my 15 year old just moved back in with his father again. Thus going to a place he's not appreciated. Also my bother in law did the same thing. Its really hard to let go when all you want to do is help them and keep them from going through all the crap you had to go through.
I appreciate your comment I am a horrible speller. I always have been. I do try to correct myself. At the time when I wrote this I was at work and on lunch break and didn't have the time to do a spell check. If you read more of my stuff I'm sure you'll have loads of fun finding errors. I do believe I'm educated, but that has always been one of my weak points. Guess that's why I usually stay away from writing. Funny thing is I was a typesetter in my previous job. If I reread stuff I can usually p
lol thanks for the link. I'm up the air. I wish I could find the page a teacher showed me back when I was studying for my GED showed me. It let you enter you views on important issues and it matched you up with the running president that closely matched what you views were. Of course I go back and read over there answers because some things are more important than others. That year I didn't vote for the president it matched me up. Thanks though I will
I totally agree with you there. When I had lots of money, oh boy did the bend over to kiss my ass then. One thing though if it weren't for so m any little guys they wouldn't have as much money to make off of all of our money. Thats for sure. Oh well time to find a small credit union here in my hometown.
*Some cats require a bit of 'teaching' as well. Watch him closely, just like you would a pup you're housebreaking, and when you catch him in the act (or just looking like he might be considering it) scoop him up quickly (and without fuss or scolding) and place him in the litterbox. Take his little front paws and make a scraping/digging motion with them in the litter (to show him how it's done) and then give him some privacy.* He has been using
Can I start by saying how much I've missed being connected. I miss being able to get up in the morning and turn on cable t.v. To be able to catch what news might be on, though right now the little guy is watching Dora the Explorer. I didn't realize he learned much from these shows till he repeated one of the spanish words from Diego one day. Funny the show also helps
I'll have to get some for you. They are upstairs playing right now, running everywhere sounding like a heard of elephants. I had a couple on my phone but I have removed them. I'll see what I can do. I'm sure I'll have some time on my hands to get you some pictures.
My mom just went back home today after coming to visit for a week. This was made possible because she just got laid off and an old boyfriend of mine got her a very inexpensive ticket. While she was down here she paid for my past due cable bill and also paid for it to get turned back on. They came and connected it yesterday. Before she got here she ran around for days
I know, my goodness. Well, I'm on way home for the weekend. YAY! I'm just now hoping I get a phone call, someone wanting a sitter. Looks like those people I had lined up flaked out and I only have one more week of work left. Blah!!
I am so loving have the house to ourselves! This has been a looooong time coming. I think it was something we really needed. I am of course missing Steven being gone, but he seems to be doing well and is very happy to be back with his friends in Ohio. Everyday I go out of my way to clean up something extra. I have already changed my living room and dining ro
Just an update. Steven left Sunday and made it home ok. Can you believe they knew all this time that he was going to be home and they didn't even get his bed out of the garage and put it in his room. I think that would've been the FIRST and FOREMOST thing I would do to prepare for my son coming back home.
lol, its fulfilling in a way. Yes, sometimes it can drive you nuts, but one thing I do realize is if you have somewhat of a schedule laid out for them it makes it easier. Of course things will happen and you'll have to replan your schedule, but for the most part, they'll get used to it, and know what to expect. I also think it will help the day go by faster. I'm excited to teach them things and notice over time how much they are learning. I u
woo hoo I have 2 children lined up already. I'm excited!
If you get really broke..(grin)...there is a certain knife I'm interested in purchasing from you. It's worth at least $100 bucks to me...maybe more if you actually steal it from him. hahahah well I won't be stealing it from him, this is Mal we are talking about here. When he notices it missing he'll k
Sorry I can't reply to everyone right this second, but I will try to do so on my lunch tomorrow. I don't have phone service either. We had digital phone through our cable/internet. It was cheeper to do it that way. Sigh, so all I have is my cell phone now. Like I said, for now I hope it will be a blessing. I've already gotten 2 phone calls and I just posted my add on craigslist on my lunch break. Also, my job offered me 3.25 more an
Well thanks to the rain we are in a big rutt. I was forced to sit down and look at how much I'm paid, how much I pay out and how much is left at the end of the month. As it stand I actually only make 160.00 a month. OUCH! I pay 500 a month thats about half of what I make right off the bat. I am putting in my two weeks notice and am going to go back to offeri
Trust may NEVER be regained, even if the offending party lives the rest of their life as a saint. Also, some people can carry a grudge forever...and never really trust anyone in the first place. I know I don't want to be like that. I know I do have trust issues, going all the way back from when I was a
lol well thank you for striking that because as was said, if you knew the man you were talking about those suggestions are hillarious. Here's a real twist on the story, he knows that I read his history. I have a program that he can't go in and delete his history. But I don't want to do that anymore, I don't want to feel I need to do that. Yes, he has broken my trust on many occasions, but I have to stop. I'm not meaning he's cheating on me. I
My take on this is, why would you want this woman back in your husbands life? If husbands is happy with you, why would he want her back in his life, when he knows this is painful to you? Good questions. Thank you.
If that's how you really feel, Angela, this is a very valid question No, no, I ment, thats how he's going to feel if I keep nagging about it. Not, how I felt.
Seriously, this whole thing is fishier than Sea World. Well I can't say I have my doubts here and there but I like to think I do still have some trust in my husband. If not, then why should I even stick around. Trust me I probably question everything more than anyone. I do know who he talks to. I am try
