Crash During Game Start up in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

Everytime I start up GalCiv2 Beta the game crashes. I have repetedly reinstalled the application and this has not fixed the problem. This started after I changed the graphis Config on my first installation. Anyhelp with this proplem would be greatly appreicated.
