I'm going to wait a year or two. I still have my PS2 and a few good titles I haven't finished playing yet. The limited number of sets is pushing prices way high and there's no point buying it now when there's no very many good games to play on it. The prices will definetly drop, just like the psp did. I don't have any experience as a parent. But I have to wonder if there is anything a parent can do if the kid is born a psychopath, with a lack of conscience. I'm on GMT +8 which is within an hour or two or your time zone. I'm on the island city nation of Singapore, chucked south of Malaysia and north of Indonesia. Tropical equatorial climates, lots of gardens, strict laws (which we are most famous for), lots of shopping, lots of crowds, lots of tall buildings to make efficient space for 4-5 million people.

I think this is done on purpose. Sometimes you feel like ranting to the world, yet you feel like holding back? It amazes me when my friends can type like that, but I find it harder to try to think of those short forms. The toilets in our workplace is sensor switched like that. They used to have it on for 5 minutes; ladies always found themselves suddenly in the dark. They've extended the time frame to 30 minutes. (BTW, thanks for the welcome back, Chip.)
While PS3 will probably be my console of choice, I don't think I'm going to buy it until the price comes down considerably. The limited number of sets available at launch has the effect of driving prices up. And the price is crazy -- I can buy a pretty good gaming computer with that money. I knew something was going to happen the minute I saw the topic. Nonetheless, on with the discussion. To be fair, yes there are advantages to PC, and yes I can see that the PC is a better gaming machine than a non-modable console. You can download more stuff, mods and levels for a game, plus more options and more control. That is what I left behind when I left pc gaming. I don't miss the hassle of upgrading and patching. Rather use the time and money on more games, so it's give and take
Welcome to the dark side, BlueDev. As they say, we always have more fun. I stopped being a PC gamer about two years ago and I haven't been missing much. Yeah there had been some titles that I wish I can have a gaming pc to play but the hassle isn't worth it. I've also found that my computer doesn't go kaput as quickly as when it was used as a gaming pc.
