Wow I just noticed this. I always just buy a new version when it comes out. Yeah Im not doing a subscription, Unless you get continued updates and there is no Fences 6. I can understand if your getting a new version a year for this price then Im onboard, but to use the same version indefinitely doesnt work for me. Ill just go back to version 4 when this version expires. Took it off auto payment as well. I love all things Stardock but nope, not working for me.

This solved it for me as well. Just FYI I was not on Windows 10 Preview builds, I was Windows 7 Pro. Thanks for the help, will update my support ticket. Very best Jim

Noticed Ive the same issue as everybody above. Debug file shows. 00045A11X - ACTIVATION PROBLEM - unable to read SAS License file The fact that the product is not showing in any of our My product listings should lead you to believe the problem is on the stardock licensing side. Again like others was never prompted for serial number or went through registration no matter how many reboots or reinstalls. Are you licensing servers working correc

Yes same account. Other users have also just mentioned this in this same posting. Could this be the problem? Never during installation of Fences 3.0 was I asked to enter a serial key or register it. The fact its not in my account may have something to do with my problem as well as others here.

Really glad Im not the only one having this problem. Bought fences 3.0 last night and installed it over 2.0. Same issues, doesnt show in my downloads as a purchase but have the receipts. The biggest problem when right clicking desktop and hitting configure fences nothing comes up. Going to the the file exe itself and nothing happens. Tried reinstalling, tried cleaning out registry and my appdata folders but nothing same issue. When trying to revert back to fences 2.0 I

I dont like the idea of buying a retail game with no mention of STEAM on it, forcing me to install to STEAM. Before everyone gets riled up, I like STEAM, Impulse and GamersGate. I dont like that STEAM is so unflexible on where you can install the application, which is not a problem with GamersGate, you install where you want, and I think Impulse also allows for this. Im already bordering on the limit to my drive that STEAMs installed on. Larger drive is not an option and shouldnt

My problem with the list is they dont abide by their philosophy. SecuRom on a item being sold by Stardock. https://store.stardock.com/application.aspx?id=agebooty&theme=impulse Matters little to me that its a 3rd party product, if you believe in what you say, it should apply to everything to you sell.

MAN! do I regret this now! I thought Stardock was against nasty DRMs but in their Impulse store they selling a game called Kings Bounty with SecuRom. Since the bill of rights state I should be able to get a refund, I think I will now. https://store.stardock.com/application.aspx?id=agebooty&theme=impulse Do I feel like a fool now. J

Age of Booty Why is this title on sale on Impulse with SecuRom? I thought you were against these types of DRMs, and I wont buy well we didnt create the game and it only applies to Stardock games. I think you pretty much have thrown the Gamers Bill of Rights out the door here. How does Securom fit in any way with your stance with the Gamers Bill of Rights? <

Stardock has the perfect DRM in my opinion. Be good to your customers, treat them like customers instead of thieves and the customers will reward you with their loyalty. Stardock does not release something and just leave it your lap. They coninuely offer updates for their titles for years. In other words, they dont leave you hanging with a disfunctional title. They offer nice pricing, they offer quality goods, this all equals to people coming to buy instead of pirate. You will always ha

DemiGod over all other titles out there. I just see soo much innovation there, and the rare co-op mode is just what gamers love. I never understood a lot of publishers leaving this one multiplayer option out. The first thing people ask about multiplayer is if its got Co-op. That should be a hint that its a very much requested feature. DemiGod is on the front of the list of my next buys. X:3's addon sounds good, but I dont think they learned to finish a product bef

Impulse is a bit buggy it seems, I bought 7 games and it tried downloading the same game 4 times. I finally went back to Stardock Central UI and its installing the games fine. There is also script errors when using Impulse while in the store, makes for difficult purchasing experience. Overall I like the new look but there was never anything really wrong with Stardock Central to be honest, and it worked 100% of the time. Ive spent 4 lost hours waiting for downloads to come down only to have th

I just bought 7 games from Stardock in the last 3 hours. Im tired of DRMs and the problems they cause. When I asked for my old email account and my new email accounts games merged, it was done it 1 hour of asking. I know this EA DRM thing has kicked up a storm, but for those jumping over here regading the Gamers Bill of Rights, this has been a philosophy of Stardocks for at least the 5 or 6 years Ive known them. I hope people dont get the impression this Bill of Rights was release because of

Ive been buying Stardock games for years now since Galactic Civ 1. I now own 10 or so but seems 8 are on my old email address and 2 on the new, and Ive got 8 new games in my cart but want to have one merged account before I buy. What do I need to have the accounts merged? Ive all the original CDs and my old and new address, and phone number if needed. Thanks in advance
