Well, I'm still new to this community, but I can sympathize with your plight. Just try to let is slide man, and keep in mind that there are those of us that appreciate what you do, greatly. Some to the point of getting a WC sub, even though our purchase lets us download. (I know that bandwidth ain't cheap at all, and an extra $20 isn't going to make me starve to death.) Keep up the good work, and just try to find those of us that appreciate what you are doing in the mess you have to trudge throu

For what its worth its also easily accessed through Mozilla Thunderbird ThunderBird rawks! It's far more secure than OE, and just as simple to use. You should give it a try. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="a
Thx for the tip.
Being that I'm a noob here and all, I'm curious as to where I would find this "user level" at? I've purchased ODNT, WC Sub, and OD+... so, what should I be?
I'm having a problem with it crashing when I click "Create New" either tabbed or standard dock.... thought it was just me...
The difference between the two is part of the purchase price for a WinCustomize Subscription and Stardock Products help off set the price of the Sites operations, hence priority on bandwidth. Hence, the reason $20 for two years is really a great deal! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/lol.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle
Simply being tired of the way Windows looks and feels! Really though, I like a lot of the stuff that I've downloaded and run. However, I'm the type of person that likes to know how things work. On top of that, I've always been into artistic things. So, while I enjoy much of the skins/icons/objects...etc, there's always that "I like it, but I wish that( object/skin part) were a little more ( adjective)" aspect. Plus, I'd really like to develop some stuff that's based on my favor
Couple of free commandline virus scanners: F_Prot: http://www.f-prot.com/products/ McAfee CleanBoot: http://www.networkassociates.com/us/downloads/beta/cbt/cbt.htm They come in handy when you happen to get one of those "anti-virus virus" infections.. the ones that disable your AV before it loads. I usually run a scan with one about once a month, just to be sure. (Yeah, I'm a little paranoid about virus infections.... but, I deal with removing virii and spyware everyday
Mine is still very... um, basic?... for lack of a less demeaning word. I'm actually just using this setup while I learn to make my own content. I like to keep things clean, with as little icons as possible. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/image
You could always politely suggest to these requesters, that they can take the time to develop the skin/interface that they want themselves, for their own personal use. That's one of the reasons that I decided to get ODNT, after using the free versions of some components. While I love much of the content out there, I'd like to have some stuff that's very "anime oriented", particularly based around
I'll post my two cents, to keep this topic active... it's worth it. As for the $20? It's nothing, when you stop to think about it. If you're interested in downloading skins/objects/etc, then $10 per year is really quite nominal. If you're the type of person that finds a desktop setup, and sticks with it... you might be better of with just a few skins. For someone like myself, that changes their desktop's appearence frequently, having unlimited access to all the content is a must. Grante
I'd have to say that there is much validity in your statments, CygnusXII. I work as an A+ tech, and see many of these bogged down registries every single day. It's also very much an issue, these days anyhow, with tons of spy/adware programs on users systems, that they don't even realise are there. I mean, it couldn't possibly be those "tons of free cursor" programs, or "web(cough)shots" and such... right?
