Sorry for the delay Neil, I had to look through my order history. Took a few minutes because I'm a long time Stardock customer dating back to 2008. Which is a big part the reason I'm angry about the way this whole situation is being handled by Stardock. I'm happy with upgrading. I don't have a problem with that at all and I never expected nor even wanted to get DS10 for free. But being strong armed into it gets under my skin very quickly. Especially when I'

Are you seriously going to miss the point too? Are you really going to argue semantics? Are you seriously going to go down the route of telling me "Oh well, you got Win10 for free, so pay us for our software"? Did you completely miss the point about you STILL selling DS8 as officially supporting Win10 and officially supporting specific features? This doesn't have anything to do with an old program that finally gave up the goose years after support ended and that versio

Neil, you're missing the point. I've worked in IT and you know as well as I do, that delaying an upgrade has it's limits. And even then, Microsoft eventually forces you to "Upgrade" your OS, even if you are on Pro. If you're on Home, you get even less control over it. So regardless of what version of the OS you're on, you don't have anywhere near as much control over the upgrade process as you are alluding to. On top of that, you as someone selling software, ca

I did specifically buy it for video backgrounds on a dual monitor PC on Windows 10. It doesn't matter when DS8 came out. What matters is when I bought it and what I specifically bought it for. I bought it for that feature on Win10. A feature of DS8 that completely breaks DS entirely in the latest Windows update. A feature that DS8 claimed to support on Win10 when I bought it. A feature DS8 still actively advertises to support to this day on its store page.&

Considering I've already bought Deskscapes, Deskscapes 3 and Deskscapes 8 over the years. And you officially supported Windows 10 for DS8 for years and now all of a sudden because windows updated it's OS (like it always does), you've now all of a sudden decided you're not going to support Win10 anymore (even though you already have officially for years) and now miraculously, you now have a new version of DS called DS10 and tell us who've already purchased a license that we're out of luc

I have to say I agree with KhaiJB. This issue has been going on for weeks now and all we keep being told is "it's a known issue" with no ETA. The bottom line is we've paid for a program and currently it's not fit for purpose because it completely breaks as soon as you have a second monitor with a differing resolution, which many people do. And the statement of "oh we may have to wait for a final windows version" is ridiculous. There will never be a final window

I'm in the same boat as you. It doesn't hurt to test, but yeah, there's no way I would leave my 4K screen all the way down at 1920x1200 on a permanent basis. This is something that would need to be fixed with an update or the program would be considered unfit for purpose in my book.

Each of my screens are different resolutions yes. My main screen is 4K 3840x2160. My secondary screen is 1920x1200. I'm in the middle of something at the moment so I can't test just now, but I will do it later. Thanks of the info for the meantime. As for drivers, I can't currently update my drivers because the latest drivers from AMD causes issues with watching youtube videos. So I've backdated them to an older more stable version. If it helps, I have

I can confirm that I'm also having issues with deskscapes on the latest 1809 windows build. In my case deskscapes works on one screen but not on 2. If I disable my second screen, it works fine. If I enable 2 screens, all I get is a black screen, regardless of what deskscape I've tested so far.

[quote who="DaveBax" reply="1" id="3627147"] Is there any way to apply a window frame theme for windows explorer without affecting the Windows 10 Taskbar? If you are talking about "File explorer" and the win 10 theme. No. Can you make different color window frames and taskbar? Sure, but not how you are hoping. Guessing you are using Windowblinds or have it since you mentioned it above. You can try to find a skin you like

I've also found with dual monitors that not only run different resolutions, but also different scaling on each monitor on Windows 10, when moving windows between screens, it messes up the explorer. Disk usage bars extend to far end of windows. Overall explorer window resizes without my telling it too. And I don't mean the auto scaling way. I mean I have it on one screen. Move it to other screen and window resizes as expected (as per scaling). Window

Believe it or not. I actually like the Windows 10 taskbar look. But I hate the all white metro windows decorations. Is there any way to apply a window frame theme for windows explorer without affecting the Windows 10 Taskbar? And if not, is there the possibility that this optionable (toggleable) functionality could be added to WindowBlinds in the future?
