Okay, I figured you both tried that already, but just in case. You have two options that I know of: 1 - Wait for more word on when a free standing update will be available for users who purchased after Sept. 1 2 - Go to the Stardock Central download page - and create a Stardock.net account to receive a download link for Stardock Central program. After downloading and installing Stardock Central, you use the "Tools > Register Products

ddente, Did you successfully uninstall DesktopX yet? It is not clear in your last comment. If not, here are a few things you can try: 1 - Download the "zapper" utility using the link provided by Bichur in comment #4. 2 - Double-click the downloaded file to load it > look for DesktopX under both the "unload" and "uninstall" tabs and select them > click the "Apply" button, and then "OK". If for some reason DesktopX is not
The only program in question would be "Styler". Is this the scroll bar color changer program? If so, you might try restoring the Windows scrollbar defaults, and disable Styler to test the functionality of WindowBlinds. I have never used Styler, but due to the fact that WindowBlinds also skins the scroll bars, there may be a conflict creating the issue. Perhaps try running the Blackcomb WindowBlind skin that came with the program to test with. <b
Right-click taskbar > Properties > deselect "Hide inactive icons" in Notification Area section > click "Apply".
Sounds like you have something corrupted in WindowBlinds file system. I would probably go with the old - Unload WindowBlinds > restore Windows to the default theme > save any skin files to temp directory > uninstall WindowBlinds > reboot > delete any WindowBlinds folder left in "C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop" folder > reinstall WindowBlinds. Note - you may or may not have the Object Desktop in the address above, if not it will be "C:\Program Files\Stardock" inste
For the Dock Icon (also known as Dock Entry in the program), you can assign may standard icon (".ico") file, or any ".png" image file. If you right-click on a dock icon (entry) and select "Dock Entry Properties", you will see a Change Image button. Clicking this button will open the Change Image dialog, which will allow you to select an image. Images (in the icon ".ico" format, or the ".png" image format) need to be stored in either the "Images" folder (or a folder you crea
ObjectDock Plus has support for the system tray - ObjectDock free version does not support it. You can either create a tabbed system tray dock, or use the configuration panel of a normal dock to select "Show system tray icons". You will need to start Stardock Central > go to Tools\Settings and select "Enable MCP notification area support" > click OK > reboot computer to load all active system tray icons into dock. If you do not have Stardock Central for some reas
Donna, Suggest foregoing the incremental save, and just save all images to a folder and build when done. If you really want to do the incremental save, I would suggest applying the package each time. I have seen a small issue when creating a custom package, in that - it saves as an icon package file, but is not displayed in Icon Packager configuration list until one double-click
Alen, You can download this utility Link , then double-click the downloaded file > use the "uninstall" tab to select and remove the DesktopX installion. Download and install DesktopX again, then download a fresh copy of the theme and double-click it to both write to directory and launch the theme. When downloading files, right-click the download link > select Save Target as..> use the Save as type: drop-
For system tray icon, you can just select the "Don't show in tray or taskbar" option - which will leave just one system tray icon. For the dock disappearing thing, you might try "Right-click tab > View > select "Lock Dock Position" - this will lock the dock in a position on the screen. If you have "Show dock as a drawer" deselected, it will stay in that displayed position on desktop - if not, it will still act as a drawer but prevent dragging of dock. Just tested
Not sure if anyone has tried this yet, but have you tried disabling your anti-virus when installing the MS Script? It seems to me that MS includes this with the OS, and that it is installed along with the OS and before any Anti-Virus programs (which include script blocking technology). Just a thought, may not work, but it should not hurt anything in Windows. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/JU/smiles/Smile.gif" border=0 ALIGN="ab
Luc70, I believe the new Icon Packager version 3 will be capable of changing even more icons than version 2.5 can currently change. Version 3 is in the works and should be out as soon as the final bugs are worked out. As for your Cryo64 package, that pack is not as comprehensive as some available (i.e., Utopia pack by Mormegil). The more icons (especially file type icons) that are made for the pack, the greater the number of system and file type icons can be c
