I read somewhere, in the manual I think, that you are SUPPOSED to have a chance to ally at friendly. How big a chance depends on your diplomacy skill. That'd tally with my experience...managed to ally with 4 in my last game all at friendly having researched all diplomacy techs. Only succeeded once in previous games, where I don't normally bother with the diplomacy.

Also, does the game crash immediately after you get the event message and image, or is it after you continue with your turn? Right after I click ok for the event, but when I loaded the autosave, the event didn't happen again.
Yes, but will the MCC ever be fixed?
Bump-de-bump.
No, the treaties screen and the FR screen show different answers with FR being one lower. I am pretty sure that the treaties screen is right.
no, if the ai wins, you lose, no matter what if its a win for them, ultimately its a loss for you. No, I mean if you die, that AI doesn't neccesarily win .
I don't mean a player loss, I mean an AI win, and when the AI wins, is there a different video for each one?
Bumppower!
I was just wondering if the AI in anyone's game had ever won by completing a victory condition.
Actually, I just realized that the actual relations were one higher than shown on the foriegn relations screen.
I've seen this before, it's weird.
Should an "auto-upgrade yes/no" switch be available? By planet or by empire or both? There is already a planet one in the details screen.
Apparently it's confirmed that the MCC's text is *NOT* correct. What it *really* provides, is a 100% Econ boost, like it shows on the display. When will this be fixed?
In my v1.1 games, when the diplo screen says friendly, I have to option to ally with those civs.
But the planets still aren't converting to me.
Every time the leader of a civilization is assasinated by someone in mine, the game CTD.
In my current game (v.1.1) as an evil race with the mind control center, no colonies are culturally converting, even though they should be as they were skull'ed for a while. In a different game, also with mind control center, it required FOUR +332 Culture Starbases to get a PQ 5 planet to join me. I would apppreciate it if you could investigate.
Sorry for two emails, and WOW fast response!
After I conquer a planet by invasion, the planet description screen shows what seems like three of the possible descriptions for planet acquirement. Ex. Acquired when troops from the...,* #** Captured when troops from the...,* # Overrun by...*** *Only shows acquirement method (war, colony, type thing), not full text. Shows whole intro, just didn't want to type it. **How it is spaced in-game ***This one s
I have an idea for and xpack or a mod where protecting your capital has more use. When it's captured you have to take in back in 10 or 15 turns or so, or take a severe economic and influence penalty and lose 5000bc. Also, to move your capital, you must first: not have the original in enemy hands, and second: you must pay 500bc, then a fleet of 5 ships named bueracratic transports appears above the former capital that must all make it to the new capital. There is a 200bc loss and an economic hit
On the trial version, when I try to connect to the secondary it can't connect to it; even with firewall off. Also, the troubleshooter can connect just fine.
Thanks, me=
I have no sound at all in the beta I got today, and I don't know what the problem is.
