The icons and wallpaper look amazing but with all due respect the skins don't do justice to WB5
Fourth Letter
J.A.F.O = Jews for the Abolition of Firearms Ownership , Googling is so informative
Im bogged down with forum posts on another site from rabid Mac fans not excepting that New Intel Macs use run-of-the-mill Intel chipsets. It's kinda sad that a company with such style and quality has to dip to mud throwing. Between widgets & time machine Apple sticks to its religious zealots to keep re-writing history in their favour
sorry its actually Sir Tim Berners-Lee if you are royally inclined
Al Gore inventing the internet is actually a joke to all you uninformed posters out there
"Tim Berners-Lee, then a researcher at CERN, posted to the alt.hypertext newsgroup saying that his fledgling hypertext project was ready for public review." Tim Berners-Lee invented the internet and he is a British citizen LOL Al Gore LOL
any chance of a few new photo realistic back drops ?
You just can't beat British invention
update manually , pick custom and simply untick the wga tool if youre worried(this works in the UK not sure about the States). If it returns a false poistive just phone MS and get them to sort it, if they can't phone dell ,you paid for windows in the sale price.
The record industry still refuses to realise or admit that CD's are overpriced in the first place ! Where is DVD-Audio ? music recorded in 5.1 is what ive been waiting for.
I agree upgrades are never totally stable a nicer back up tool to copy all your details, email and settings from XP would be alot nicer

I have never had this fault with WindowFX 3 , lets see everyones specs it could be a series of G-card or something AMD Athlon 3000+(754) Gigabyte NForce3 Mobo SATA/PATA Nvidia 6600GT Audigy SE 1GB Kingston 3200 (1 stick) Windows Media Center 2005 (Rollup2+fully up to date)
Simply add an exclusion for Outlook , then it will skin itself normally.
I think hes right whether its HTML problems or just plain old spelling mistakes the web has a long way to go to catch up with most printed media. The mistakes can be seen on alot of web sites (not this one obviously) so the question is why take it personally if you code and type well hes not talking about you
Bear in mind Bebi that was a reply to a particularly crass comment by dug_98304 and not a general dig at all my american cousins. As if the EU shouldn't fine Microsoft because the US "saved our asses in WW2" I didn't realise that Microsoft has ran the USA since 1939. If any US citizen doesn't think that the EU has been repaying war time depts to the US for the last 60 years with interest they don't have a very good grasp on politics or economics.
I didnt mention "the EU saving your asses" And my Grandfather and both his brothers died at D-day so no american troops "saved their asses" eh? and quite what that has to do with an EU fine against Microsoft I'll never know 1. 1939 November 4 - In the USA, Congress amends the 1937 Neutrality Act to permit European states to buy American arms for cash if they provide the transport. 2. 1940 September 3 -
I take it that comments like "Europe is being weak on terrorist states" that the implication here is that the EU doesnt go to war over intelligence that is later proved to be wrong or have any WMD's been found ? Bear in mind all you US nuts the UK invaded Afganistan and Iraq with you and all of us in the UK are members of the EU too.........
I'm amazed at the fan boy element here, I like microsoft software and happliy defend Windows XP to customers everyday but when it comes to business practice I don't think anyone can defend them just ask BlueMountain, Sun, IBM and Netscape to name but a few.
Well Dug you should check your history books the US stayed out of WW2 and happily sold weapons, ships and planes to both sides(Allied and Nazi). Sold weapons for cash, gold and most of the British, French and Dutch global strategic military bases, so where did all that cash that rebuilt Europe come from ?? and you seem to be forgeting all the US military bases all over Europe for the last 60 years. Its a typical uninformed american opinion (we saved your asses in WW2) and funnily enough it has no
Lets bear in mind that at least the EU has managed to give a ruling and stick to it alot more than the US ever managed.
I'd say the word you're looking for is PROMOTION ! promote your web site and they will come. Stickers, bumper stickers, t-shirts (all printable cheaply with an inkjet and the right paper). Search engines need huge amounts of money thrown at them to help start local and let word of mouth start you, forwarded emails also another way but they can also foster bad feeling. In the case of your website I'd say adding some interesting content would certainly help and fonts that are kinder on
Surely the whole point of this discussion is that before Mac went Intel inside you could spend twice as much on a mac and be happy that you had a unique (and as Steve Jobs always said before "better")architecture (IBM G5 people! Motorola G4 is like P3 speed) However now that Steve and boys are shouting about how much better Intel's chips are (completely the opposite of what they were saying 12 months ago) you can now say HEY! that £1800 macbookpro
Whats with all the corporate whores ?? You're supposed to show alternative skinning options it's good business practice ! No business should be afraid of competition and the fact that Stardock are always happy to show us alternatives on a web site they run shows you why many of us will always support Stardock.
