Hey guys, the border thing for text worked pretty well. Thanks again. Now I won't need to change my theme so the mail server setting issue isn't such a big deal. Now--if only I could get rid of desktop x helper when I boot up, I'd be happy!

Thanks. That didn't work, but I worked around it.
There's a button, when you're choosing a color for text (oops, should've specified that), to add a custom color. Then, you can click on a custom color, and should be able to click the button labeled "define custom colors". By default, all the custom colors are black. When I change the custom colors, hit ok, then go back into editing any object--the custom color is gone.
I'm having a new problem guys... My custom colors don't save for some reason. When I add a custom color, it doesn't even allow me to define custom colors. Has anyone else run into this problem?
Thanks man--I'll see if I can work on that.
Good idea... I'll try that out, thanks.
Christ. I was trying to post only once, but my post wasn't going through, some website problems, I thought. Then it registered every time I tried to post.
Oh, I didn't realize that you could change themes from client (no option when I right-click). I've always changed my themes by just right-clicking and loading a different theme. I see what you mean though, it does work out. I don't really think I should be precluded from using builder because DX is forcing me to deal with the DX helper, though. Maybe it's just me, but it's annoying. I'm very particular about what programs I load with Windows so I can

Yeah I don't have that checked. I also tried deleting the dx helper widget, but it just replaces itself when I reboot.
Ok I have 2 problems. Any help would be greatly appreciated. First, I'm having problems with my Killer mail object. My mail server settings don't save if I change my theme at all. That's a bit of a pain. I used to be able to make the objects persistent, and that would save my settings, but now I can't do that. Anybody know how to fix that? My second problem is with the text objects I use. My skills are pretty rudimentary, bu
Ok, I don't really like using the DX client, since I change themes pretty frequently. Is there another option? It's very annoying.
Thanks
I can't stand it.
I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem and might know what I can do about it. My problem is that, any time I change themes my killer mail object loses its email configuration, so it stops checking for new emails. I've always had this problem with this object, but I used to get around it by making the object "persistent". I can't find an option to do this anymore in the latest dx, though, so I'm all out of ideas. Other than limiting myself to just one theme, is
Thanks man, I'll try that.
Hey, if anybody can help me, I'd really appreciate it. I'm having a situation with text colors in DX. My skills are pretty rudimentary, but I've created my own theme. Most of my objects are simple text with functions for opening menus and such. My problem is in choosing the colors for my objects. Although most of my wallpapers are dark, so a white color shows up well, some of them may have lighter areas that correspond with where my objects are placed, making it
Hey everybody--would any of you know if there's a way to make an object that could close a program that's running? Specifically, I use Anapod Explorer with my Ipod and DX. Problem is, right-click doesn't work on Anapod Explorer in the systray. So, if I want to eject my Ipod, I either have to End Task on Anapod, then eject my Ipod, or I have to unload DX, then right-click and disconnect the ipod from there. Neither solution is very attractive, and I gue
