Some Programs override Z ordering (always on top)

Hello, I have ObjectDock 1.3 Plus and I am trying to fix a problem. I have it set to "Always on Top" Z-ordering since I always want the dock above my windows (such as email programs and web browsers). However, sometimes when I open a program it overrides the dock. In order to fix it I either have to minimize the program or quit and restart ObjectDock. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Hello Kesscc65,

I will pass this on to technical support and they will get back with you shortly.

Thanks,

: Unfortunately this is an issue with the layered windows api provided by Microsoft. It intermittently will not respect the z-ordering of objects using this api.

If you frequently encounter this problem, it may be a better idea to run the tabbed dock and use the "reserve edge of screen" option until this feature can be introduced to the standard dock.

I've got the same problem - let's get this all in one central thread - a Stardock dev is on the issue here:
