Population Cap

Question for all you testers

I have now just started to play the beta and have a question about population caps on planets. How do i know when the population has 'maxed-out' on a planet and i need to build improvements? Is there somplace in the game that tells me where please.

It's a matter of food production. You can see the current food production (in mt/wk) for each planet in the planet screens. 1 mt/wk is enough to sustain 1b people - that's it!

Its as established said, but, remember, that as the population grows thier approval goes down. You could end up with a class 20 world with 20bn people being supplied food by 5 farms, and the remaining 15 tiles going to just keeping them happy.


Still, nice way to collect taxes, I suppose.
