my windows blinds wont work properly

hi i just purchased my windows blinds im running windows xp sp2 with norton antvirus 2005 web root spysweeper and when i install wb5 enhanced version it locks up my comp after i reboot i look on my task bar and process is like 300 with win devdlr being the most process...i have to boot in safe mode and uninstall whats wronge with this product? not compatible with xp or what? all i see after i reboot is a background and everything else is locked up cant do anything unless in safe mode? i running x800 ati vid card and the free version seems to work just find just not the full el oh el

Strange.......you don't show up as a customer.
The cracks out there are hazardous to your computer. You end up with a lot of spyware and possibly some new virus that you can never get rid of.....

User level unknown just means the account is not a WC one (a sd forum one most likely).

Latyrx is a paying customer, so could we please not assume things based on user level.

Latyrx: WB5 is XP compatible and the full version should work just as well as the trial version on your PC.  What other applications do you have loading at startup on your PC?  Do you have UltraMon for example?

Devdlr appears to be a creative labs file.  If you disable this from starting (use msconfig), does this problem continue?

I have devdlr running with WB5 but YMMV. {And devdlr has given me lots of fits over the years, won't end, won't start, etc.}

Yes...in this case 'unknown' is Stardock.com.....

okay guys ive found the culprit it looks like my old driver from creative soundblaster was some what non functional and the file devdlr was still active on my pc i ran a search for the file and renanmed it problem solved windows blind started up with no prob
