DesktopX and IconX compatibility.

For several months now whenever I try to use DesktopX, it interferes with IconX. After applying DesktopX, Iopen IconX and the "About" tab disappears and under "Options" the "Run At Startup" box disappears. This means that when I reboot, I have to manually start IconX. I know it's probably not a big deal, but it isn't right. Will this be fixed soon? Seems like this has gone on for way too long now. The only "workaround" I have seen is to not use them both at the same time. This does not seem like a high-tech solution.

Same here. I don't use DX anymore for this reason. I get more use from IconX so it's a simple choice, but it would be nice if they could co-operate a bit better.

I do believe that support is very well aware of the problem and is working on a solution.
But with new programs taking up a lot of their time - things are going slow in this area. Time will tell when they will get dx back like it was with iconx features included with it and all. There is a work around and such - which does not work for all computers - but on some you can add a startup for iconx to the startup and it does work - just a bug here and there tho with not being able to edit the names of files on the desktop tho. Kind of a hard thing to figure... I've reverted back to an older version of iconx for the time being and added a startup for it and have my dx start via mcp server - thus I do have both my iconx and dx running with little problems. But as I said it will not work on every computer. Good luck guys - there is a solution and support is working to give us everything they can. We just have to try and help them and ourselves a bit more with some research and patience too.
