When monitoring it creates a zero byte file when replacing a changed file.

Please update to the latest version available on SDC which should fix your problem.

Tried new version and it does the same thing - many 0 byte files. Primary is harddrive, secondary is external USB harddrive. If I make changes to an existing file the log says cannot create an existing file and recreats it as a 0 byte file.

This is still happening, if you manually do it by pressing the sync now button, it then creates correct file, but when auto monitoring, it always seems to create 0KB files. Still using FolderClone for now.

This needs fixing ASAP, as the program is of little use until it actually works on a basic level. I look forward to when tis function works correctly.

Cheers!

Ooooh, that sounds a bit harsh now I read it again. I know it's an alpha... I guess it frsutrates me because this is exactly the solution I wa slooking for 6 weeks ago when I got folder clone.... and the instant monitoring is very RAID like which is what I wanted.... just doesn't work properly yet.... but it's an alpha

Cheers!

Neil Posted in the News Groups that this had been fixed internally and so the fix should be out with the next build. For what its worth, I'm having the same problem.
