Link points to 1.0.6.

1.5 is not beta yet, it's 1.5 Beta Release Candidate 1. The beta will follow later. Quote MozillaZine:
We haven't released 1.5 Beta 1 yet. Please don't jump the gun and blog or post reviews saying we have until we actually have. Thanks

As well as my saved passwords. Couldn't get those to transfer over properly.

I wasn't sure where to post this but I hope someone from Stardock can see this but Firefox 1.5 may not work right with Windowblinds.

You see a decision was made (Bug 303806 Link) to tweak the Firefox UI so that it matches better the default WinXP Luna theme but as a side effect this made some of the menus under classic look ugly and also affected some msstyles.

A big flame war (Link) erupted over this but it is not going to be backed out according ot the Mozilla devs, anyway as a result over all this commotion there was traction over (Bug 243078 Link) which allows Firefox to render menus natively in Windows XP but the guy who is doing the code tested Windowblinds and couldn't make it work (only msstlyes) so that could mean that Firefox will no longer work quite right with Windowblinds themes if this does makes it into the final version of Firefox 1.5 which is still up in the air but there is a small chance it could, at best if this was working then we would get fully skinned menus & toolbars at worst it wont skin anything or will simply be able to only match the colours for the menus

Maybe one of Stardocks devs could post a comment or take a look at that bug 243078 ?
(Please dont anyone who is just an end user as that will only cause trouble bugzilla is meant for developers only.)

I think the menus look better!

So do I, but if that patch as it stands to allow Firefox to render WinXP menus natively goes in then one of two things could happen;
At worst Windowblinds won’t be able to skin any part of Firefox's toolbars or menus.

At best Firefox will be able to match the colours of the menus to the current Windowblinds skin kind of like the current situation with Firefox 1.0.6

I was hoping that if Firefox gets the ability to natively render menus and toolbars under Windows maybe one of Stardocks developers could take a look at the code and point the guy in the right direction so WB can benefit too, better doing it now before it gets checked in (if it were to) then down the road whereby they might not be so willing to re-open the bug if it gets checked in.

On the forums here on Wincustomize I can't see the post "editor" controls. Anybody else have this problem?

You can only see those in IE

I see them just fine without IE

Personally though I might put the older version back on, since none of my themes apparently work with this one, and I don't see any read difference anyway

You can only see those in IE

But I used to see them in Firefox.

A lot of things don't work quite the same for Wizops - you'll get used to them. Like for me pressing 'Enter' starts a new paragraph instead of a new line... But in Firefox it doesn't do anything and everything gets bundled on the same line

Demo - I just pressed enter...

Thanks.  I guess there are some things I will need to get used to.  I just now have to decide if I should use IE or Maxthon.

I wonder if my skins work if I switch again... I went back to an older version because of it

Skins and Windowblinds not working with Firefox? Simple solution! Use IE!

Kona, a lot of people don't like IE. We prefer things like extensions and tabbed browsing. We also like browsers that are updated within the last couple of years.

IE7 is not out yet.  Although I will try it and I hope that it's worth the wait considering I have to use IE on this site now.

Can't stand having 50 windows open at once or fighting the back button while getting lost 30 pages deep into a site because it doesn't have tabs? Don't use windowblinds but hate the ugly outdated primitive IE browser? Enjoy updates sooner than every 5 years?

Simple solution, use firefox/opera/camino/safari/maxthon.

Wasn't IE7 supposed to be out in may anyway?

This looks like a good place to toss this comment on. Twice in the past 4 to 6 weeks..not sure of exact time frame. I have opened up Firefox which is my default browser and found all my tabs and bookmarks wiped out. Gone without reason. I rely on my saved " things " to get around. This is annoying and also baffling as there seems to be no cause before hand. Only thing I noticed was it only happens after a Total reboot ..shutting completely down. I tend to only shut off internet and only restart windows . My question is..has this happened to others ? Is there a way to prevent this ? Or just a bug with Firefox?
