Hi,

I wanted to randomize my bootscreen on Windows xp SP1,
then i tried BootScreen 1.02, 1.03, 1.04, 1.05a and my computer
freeze all the time on black screen after the display of the bootscreen.

The only version who's ok is the 1.00, but do not contain randomize bootScreen,

I even try all the boot screen contained in the installation package,
and it's the same thing.

Perhaps the solution will be to take sources of the version 1.00 and add
a randomize option directly,

Please help..... and sorry for my english,

maybe u should upgrade your computer to sp2 then try it out

Hi,

Thanks for this idea but i don't want to intall SP2 on my
computer, i'have so much apps who can goes wrong after that !!

Can you confirm me there is really no problem between Bootskin and SP2

Some motherboards seem to have probs with Bootscreen. I've got the Intel 965 GCL, and have never been able to get past the black screen freeze up, even going back to version 1.02. Mine is a retail board in a system I built. There have been other posts on this problem in the WC forums. Search the forums and see if any of the comments help. Lots of luck to 'ya. Also I tried it with both service packs and it made no difference. And your enlish is as good as quite a few of the english speaking posters.

I continue to search in the forum for other solutions,

For your information i have an Asus K8NE-Deluxe with Bios 1009,
but i don't understand what kind of things in bootskin have interactions
with Bios.
