Pro version problem

I've only had the Pro version installed for a few days, but already I find it useless. I had the demo version installed and that worked fine. Then I uninstalled the demo version and installed the Pro version and nothing has worked right, since.

The problem is that the cursor refuses to 'stick' to the secondary system. I move the cursor and it switches over (usually) withhout a problem, but it switches back within seconds, long before I have time to do anything on the secondary system. I've tried defining the scroll lock key as the switch and all the rest of the things available in the config, but nothing makes any difference.

I've had to uninstall it, since it's basically useless and now I'll try to reinstall the demo version to see if I can get back to work.

Oh, and the shared clipboard didn't seem to work, either.

If this happens then it probably means a shareware file was left on the machine (most likely on the secondary machine).

Please totally remove the app from the secondary machine (check the original dir has been removed - if not then delete it) and then reinstall.

Followed your suggestions, but it didn't help. Oh, I can stay connected for up to 5 or 10 seconds, but then it splits and I lose the secondary machine.

A disconnect every 5 seconds points to MP deciding the remote PC isn't connected anymore (as it runs a check every 5-6 seconds)

This can happen with a mismatch of MP 1.01 (or later) on the primary and 1.0 on the secondary.

Can you post the dates & sizes of all the files in the MP directory on your secondary machine please.

Also as a test, what happens if you set the primary machine to be a secondary & the secondary machine to be the primary?

Well, that appears to have done it. Thanks.

By the way, is there a way to get the versions on secondary machines to match without installing StarDock Central on each machine?
