Minimized full-screen application cannot be restored

If you minimize the application using ALT-TAB, you get a popup that says "Invalid Call" when you try to restore the application. The application then crashes.

REQUEST: It would be great if you could integrate some kind of simple Bug Report dialog into the Beta so we can report bugs without closing the game. Since ALT-TAB crashes, we need to close the game each time we want to submit a post to this forum.

PC, regarding your request, have you tried windowed mode? Have you tried using GCConfig to set windowed mode and the window size you want? I am often switching back and forth between GC2 and SDC, and find it easier, faster, and more convenient when I have GC2 in windowed mode.

Hey Jack,

The laptop that I play on has a max resolution of 768x1024, so I play fullscreen to get the most out of it. Don't blame me, it's what my company gave me to use when I'm travelling!

Since I'm so res-impared, I'm just careful not to minimize while I'm playing. If I had a better machine I would run in windowed mode as you suggested. For now, I just keep a pad and paper handy to write down bugs when I see them.

You could try playing in windowed mode at 1024x768. The code handles it a bit differently and it might be more forgiving of minimizing and restoring, but you still get all the benefits of a fullscreen window.
