How a local tribe in my home county handled a child molester

I,Ironically, put this under humor...although not many would view it that way...maybe...
As the story goes, back in the 1950's an indian man, of the local tribe, (Klamath) moelested a families(non-indian) daughter...the town was outraged...legally he would only be imprisoned...soooo.....the Klamath Indian Tribe Chiefs took justice into their hands, having been on good relations with the girls family, they took the man from his prison cell (awaiting decision,etc...) and took him onto their reservation, told him to drop his pants and proceeded to nail his testicles (aka balls) to a tree stump...then (if you think that is bad) they set the stump on fire...The man by this time was screaming in pain,because of both the fire burning him, and nail through his testicles...they gave him a hunting knife and told him...that if he wanted to survive, that he would have to cut off his testicles............................
