I just sent an email to the both of you. Someone with a WC account is trying to cross-reference it to my Stardock purchase account. I forwarded a copy of the email that the automated Stardock thing sent to me. If either of you all isn't here, someone let me know so that I can forward this to an admin that is here. I'm a little concerned that someone may be trying to get access to my registration numbers for the products I've bought. Thanks :)

T-Man, or one of the other site coders is who you need, and they generally can't be found on weekends.

But I doubt anyone can gain access to your info, since all correspondence will be sent to your email address.

Hi Essencay.  That  happens every now and then.  Naughty peeps.  (silly ones too) I'm not sure what can be done, but forwarding that email is probably the best thing you could have done.  Thanks for letting us know.

Thanks guys...what was odd was it was sent to my old address. Last month I updated all my stuff with Stardock with my new addy via email. The following text kinda freaked me out....

This process will attempt to locate your account information for (my old email addy) and grant you access based upon your Stardock product registrations.

I won't worry about it unless something odd happens. If it isn't a site glitch, Jafo's got the person's addy from the email and can apply whatever the appropriate punishment is

Essencay....yes...T-Man would be the one to chat to...but it is a common thing...someone in Spain tried mine about a week ago....I sent him an email saying it wasn't too clever trying to access an admin's account.....got no response, naturally..

Though this has been resolved for almost a week now, I wanted to come back to this and thank T-Man for getting back to me and to thank Koasati, GM and Jafo for alleviating any concerns I had. There just seems to be a bit more pissin'n'moanin than thank you's hitting the forums lately. So thanks again for all you all do

After reading this post Essencay, I realized I had one of those emails last month, I kept it because I hadn't remembered asking for my login info...this probably explains the email then!!!
