Hi all

I have a cool concept idea that I want to bring under everyones attention.
I want to make an online skinners-magazine that will (depending on the people that are willing to coorperate) come out about once a month or once in 3months.
It can contain all the latest skinning news, featured files, skinners interviews, tips and tricks, tutorials etc...
My idea is to convert the magazine to a PDF file so that it will be available for everyone.

As you can imagine, I can't do this alone. My english is far from perfect, and I don't have all the skinning knowledge like a lot of people here at WC.

It would be great if some people that have some spare time are willing to coorperate with me on making this magazine.
I'm sure that if the quality is right, skinning will get some more attention and maybe we can convince the non-skinners to go and skin

We can also include some helpfull ads to well known skinning websites, personal websites and more...

I hope im not the only one who likes this idea, and maybe there are some people that have some spare time to help me make this magazine, as you can imagine we need people who are willing to work on the contents, on the cover design and the ideas...

True, but like a featured file in the magazine could be a 2 page dedication to that skin, The author can explain in detail why he made the skin, how he made the skin, etc etc.. with several previews ofcourse...
I think it's good to give away much detail about the first step untill the finished skin. Other than that, we can do specials about skinning websites/programs etc..

I Think It's a Really Good Idea. Especially In The Area Of "Tips and Tricks" and "Tutorials" Most Of The Material On This Site Is Either Vague or Else Outdated. Hope You Can Get It Off The Ground ...

By the way, what do y'all think about the following size,
A normal magazine is a4 format, but because it will be a online magazine maybe it's better if we can make the size 1024x768 or 1280x960...?

1024x768 seems to be the size for newbies who have no idea about skinning.

I guess it depends on who your targeting.

Maybe, but I think there are still a lot of people who use 1024x768,
I'm targeting everyone who is skinning or who is interested in skinning. We can also start of making it a-4 size and maybe in the future go over to 1024x768 or 1600x1200 or whatever...
