Registration Problem with Objectdock

When I log into SDC everything is fine on the Obeject Desktop page but when I click on the MISC page I get an "! Failed to validate your ObjectDock Plus registration information. Please verify that you have enetered your email address and serial number correctly."...So I proceed to the registration page and re-enter my serial # and email address. It confirms it. Then I go back to the MISC page and get the same error message. It's not expired so I'm figuring this is some kind of bug with SDC.

There seems to be a few items not working correctly. I have no trouble with MISC but Skins and Themes get errors, then SDC get an error and send a report when you close it (after checking themes).

Check what version and build you are using by selecting Help > About. What you are describing should have been fixed up so its possible your using an old build.

That's the version I had trouble with, used the restore shortcut in the SDC folder, still have the same version but now it's working.

Bichur, did you roll back to a previous version, then update or are you running the same build after using the restore shortcut?

Have the same problem with OD-Plus in SC with newest Build. Have done also a fresh install off SC, but same problem. Could it be because my OD expired?

Already posted this problem to Nick from Stardock Support, but still no fix

Yeah, I also updated to the latest build 2.07.331 build 85 and am still having the same problem with OD+. Hopefully they'll catch it before the next update for OD+ comes out.

Yeah, I also updated to the latest build 2.07.331 build 85

Lantec, are you sure it isnt build *86 ? Thats what mine updated to...

I am actually getting strange behavior out of this build.. Instead of the discussion threads showing up it now acts as if I am using the "Web Browser" and completely ignores the fact that I have clicked on a thread in the "Discussion" area..

So far thats all I have noticed..but I havent been using it all that long yet..

Zero.

DZ, I just checked and it's build 85. Not sure why we've got different builds, but I've noticed this in the past. People report problems with versions I haven't yet rec'd even though I updated the same day.

Mine is build 86 also, no issues so far.

Nakor posted in a thread a couple days ago that they found the problem, and to watch for build 86 - which should fix the problem - comment #27 Link

Though from the DZ's last post here, maybe not all issues were fixed yet.

I'm now on 2.07.332 build 85 and still showing the same results. And before anyone asks it IS Build 85 not 86, but thats what it updated (automatically) to this morning.

I stayed at the same version when I used the restore shortcut in the folder.

The latest release does show a very odd window in the ojbect desktop section.

Anyone seen that too?

I finally updated SDC because it seemed to be fixed. I updated to SDC Version 2.07.332, build:86 and I have a problem that no one else has mentioned. The frameline between the programs and the description are overlapping and you can no longer resize them because of it. Here's a screenshot http://essencay.wincustomize.com/photos.aspx?a=1&p=1&SID=1825&UID=497678 (click on image to view fullsize) Most noticeable on the right-hand side where the red cursor is.

I have been having the same problem as Scibe Essencay in #21:

"The frameline between the programs and the description are overlapping and you can no longer resize them because of it."

SDC Version 2.07.332, build:86

I see the same as Essencay (#21) and Jeff T (#22).

Bichur, I downloaded, installed and then updated the version of SDC available for download at Stardock.com (per Tarkus comment in another thread) I now have build 86 and it seems to have fixed the problems I was having. Not sure why all previous updates stayed with build 85.
Currently on 2.07.332 build 86. Not showing the frameline problem like SNK, Jeff T and Thomassen - yet.
