Pope Dies !

Just saw on television about ten minutes ago that Pope John Paul II has passed away. He died 9:30 PM Vatican time, and 2:30 U.S. time. Our hearts and prayers go out to this remarkable person who we know is with God at this very moment ! My deepst respect and appreciation for all he had done ... may HE rest in peace !

While I am not Catholic, I must say I am profoundly sad at his passing. He was a very good man, who cared very much for the well being of people. He was more a man of the people than of the Church. I know that he will be missed terribly. Nearly the whole world is in grief, but He is home now with our creator. RIP

I can imagine a frail old soul being assisted up to heaven by angels and with each step a stronger man emerges. Until at last the man must assist the angels. God blessed us with a loving compassinate man. Let those who believe in God say thanks to God for sending such a man to this world. For those who don't believe in God say thanks to the man who was Pope John Paul II. I am not a Catholic yet the I can be with him in the "spirit". Godspeed Old Man, Godspeed.

He was a good man... but remember guys, each soul is going to die and go back to it's creator... so get ready for a day where your soul leaves this world... everyday is a day closer to your last day.

I am not religious but it was sad to see that he died. He was a good man and he helped out a lot of people.

I'm not religious or anything, but he was a good guy. I met him on a vacation once. If you ever saw his ride, the Pope-Mobile, it was pretty sweet.

wow, didn't hear about this yet. He was a great man indeed, but he was suffering terribly of late. At last he is at peace.
