people know what they are doing is removing my skins from the visible library and its not fair, they said they were doing it and why, yet no1 cares. I think this system is rigged, because only people with a user level of 4 and higher can rate and that means that they are subscribers and or skinners who want to hold other skinners as down as possible. People dont even download my skins anymore they just click one. Look at the comments at https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SkinID=1289&LibID=25&comments=1 im sick of people just clicking 1. I think there should be a few more rules so people in 'power' dont hold all the cards, i think that you should state why you are rating the skin the way you are rating it, that you should only get to rate 1 skins per artist per day, that people who abuse ratings should lose thier user level, and that skins with a rating of 2 are lower are not hidden by default . Ive made several posts trying to get staff attention yet i continue being ignored. Most the nasty comments i recieve are about my NICK, i find that to be very stupid, what does my name have to do with my skins.

I totally agree with you. I rate on quality and opinion, not name.

Its to the point though, where I can hardly stand to look through the CursorXP library. Everytime I see something new with a cool name, I go there expecting to see something awesome...and dont... Sorry man, but its the truth. I would like to see some higher quality work from you, since I'm pretty sure you are capable of making better stuff. Just take your time and really put major effort into them.

I'll agree with pipowell. Some of the comments on your work are a little too harsh and not constructive at all, but unless they get offensive you'd have to learn to accept them.
As for the low ratings, well that too comes with the territory and the only way to improve your rating is to improve your work quality. Currently, there are 65 cursor themes in your library and they are all repetitions or recolor of the same. My advice to you (as other have suggested) is to upload packs when creating various version of the same set. Multiple uploads of the same theme just because you made it in 10 different colors is not going to give you a higher rating or download count. Also, try to make better screenshots. Keep in mind that good presentation gets better attention.
As far as your nick goes, well I could care less what your nick is but if you are getting a negative feed back from people I think is time for a nick change. Also remember that if you are serious about skinning or become a good skinner, you'd want an appealing name not a controversial name.
You once stated that you nick means 'Instant Messenger GOD' (whatever that means) but people don’t read it as such. It reads more as 'I'm GOD' and what is a little more controversial is the numbers that follow 5552666, it reads as '555 to 666' and some believe that '666' is the number of the beast (Devil)

The name does offend me. Like many others here, I have a belief in God. "God" as personified as "God" is perfect. So first off, you are blatantly thumbing your nose at what many people in the world view as the #1 most important thing in their lives. Do you know the story in the Old Testament. Satan was an angel of great stature. Do you know why he was cast down? He said "I will be like God". Pride goes before destruction, my friend, and a haughty spirit before a fall.

That aside, if your name was not I'm God, but something equal like "perfection", then you have set the mark so high that even a very good skin would be criticized because it is not "perfect". An amateur skin, like one of mine or one of yours, will receive outright ridicule. I have not rated any of your skins that I remember. Your name offends me enough that I don't look. You should change it. Your young enough to re-establish any harem or following that you have. I believe you have potential for greatness, but for now, try to be resilient like a willow tree, instead of a stubborn, non conforming piece of petrified wood.

Theres this little thing in the bible which is an excuse for all the fault in the world its a little fictional word called "free will". (its accually 2 words) . I just went to checked out ALL your skins...and no offense...but I didn't find one thing out of all of them I would download. In my opinion they all seem unfinished. And it is because of stuff like this that I don't even view anything below a 4 rating. That may seem unfair to some, but if I'm going to make my windows, cursors, and whatever else look better...I want them to look better...not worse. Maybe if you polished some of them up a bit they might look better. You certainly have the ambition to do them, and some of them have potential, but you need to spend more time on them rather than pumping them out. And instead of taking things personal, learn from what others are telling you.

Well said, Sleeping Dragon. There's also another issue which is being ignored, here. ImGOD: Your superior, haughty attitude towards the non-skinner comments. You'll tell a non-skinner who has the courage to give you constructive criticism that they don't have any skins. I have NEVER seen another skinner who says these hateful, demeaning things.

It's also gotten to the point where I don't want to visit CXP's library anymore - and this was my favorite library too. I agree with CerebroJD on this issue.

Sorry, I don't like your nick and your skins. I haven't rated your skins because I haven't tried them. They don't look good to start with and your preview pictures suck. I look at the preview picture and if I like what I see, I'll download it and try it. My setting is set at 2-3 stars, depends on what I want to see.To be honest, I got tired of seeing your cursors so I raised it to 3 stars.

IMG*D...Here's the deal...if you're trying to become part of the community, listen to some of these folks and change your nickname. It is blasphasmus(spelling) and is as offending to some as personal remarks about them or racial slurs. That's because your nick trivializes the beliefs of some folks. I don't run the site, but if it were up to me you'd be gone, until you learned a little respect for others.

As for your cursors...you've received comments from some of the very best skinners as to their quality and the truth is I've downloaded some really sad stuff before to review it and offer constructive feedback, but I can't bring myself to download your stuff.

The role of the site Admins is to do what's 'best' for the site and its community as a whole.

Since there is essentially no skin 'moderation' as such for 'quality' we are reliant on this same community's opinion/ratings to enable 'filtering' of its wares to take place....so the genuinely 'poor' standard works do not detract from the site/community's standard as perceived by the general/casual public.

Any and EVERY person submitting skins could benefit by concentrating on 'quality' not 'quantity'.

People will laud over one very good skin far longer than they will over a 'magnificent and veritable flood of dross'.

IMGOD....As to any comments on your work....if they are considered by you to be abusive or personal attack...email an admin [eg. me] if said admin agrees with you they will be removed.

I`m not a skinner nor a member of admit & I really don`t care for your nick, but your work doesn`t appeal to me. It seems too rushed & incomplete. From what I`ve read of your comments on several posts you`re ONLY intersted in ranking, if so put more effort into what you`re doing instead of posting all these complaints that are unfounded.

regardless of what the skin meaans to you and to other people, people should be allowed to choose if they want to see it or not. Not just the people in power.



Well as the people in power pay for the site to be run, they can do whatever they damn well please. I'm sure if you feel like donating a few grand every month to cover the costs, the libraries could be opened up to show all rated skins.

I just looked through your cursors. They remind me of many of the Cursors, Icons, and WB skins I have made and SELF MODERATED, thus never uploaded. If and when I have the time to improve my skills I will grace the public with my as yet to be found talent. That being said, you have MUCH more talent than the thousands of people that go to customization sites and never even try to skin anything. Please heed the advice here and improve your skills, as from the looks of your work you have the potential to add alot to the community.

IMG*D with comments like you said #30 no wonder people rate your stuff low , you have an attitude to everything everybody says when established skinners give you their opinions and try to get you to improve your stuff you retaliate with a rude remark ,you even do this to non-skinners. That comment along with the rest of that paragraph was enough to make me mad. It is not wise to mince words with the wise my friend. All that happens is you look like more of a fool.

As for your nick - It needs to be changed. It is VERY offending.

As far as your skins - they need alot of work. Looks like all you did was 5 minute jobs on each.

As far as your ratings: Only way to make them better is to improve your work. I, too, have low ratings on my work. But after alot of feedback to improve my skins I did. And I still am.

So - improve your skins and CHANGE THAT NICK!!

I agree with just about everything everyone else has said here. It's painful to look through the cursorxp library because it's littered with horrible scenes of torture. I actually did raise my star rating from 2 to 3 just so I wouldn't have to be doomed to look at them. That whole library is disgraceful it's in such a state of horror. Personally I'm not a christian nor do I believe in god, but I do find your name a bit offensive because it portrays this sense of egotism and perfection where there obviously is none. When I first saw this topic I thought something had actually been done and your submissions were actually deleted from the library altogether, was about to cheer....but alas, they were only "removed" in the sense that people couldn't really see them because of the ratings.

The simple truth is, like the others have said, your submissions are AWFUL and need work. Your attitude stinks and you discredit anyone's opinion just because they have no submissions, what makes you better than those who haven't submitted a skin? I'd rather have no submissions at all than 70 god-awful monstrosities. Just because we might not have uploaded a skin does not mean we don't know good work and quality when we see it.
