Problems with Stardock Central

For no apparent reason, SDC is not updating the threads any more - I can force an update by deleting the files in /discussion - but this is not really satisfactory.

Any thoughts??

Same here. I.m guessing the last update broke it. arobertson, you can also right click the GalCiv Forum button underneath Discussion and choose reset list, rather than deleteing the files in /discussion.

Hope this gets fixed soon :notsure:

This happened to me with this build and with one a couple of versions back.

I've not upgraded to the latest version of SDC. Still at 1.04.187 build 20. Works fine.

Having the same problem. Definitely seems to be a problem with the latest SDcentral build. Version 1.10a.196 build 22

I used to have the same problem of a list that did not update, but I found a solution. Click the Discussion tab, right click on the Galciv Forum tag in the second tool bar, click on reset list. That did the trick for me.

have to reset list every time I log in though!

Very annoying.

Yep. Now I have to "reset" the list each time I log in too.

Stardock Central was not updating after the last built for me either. Now it doesn't show any threads, even when I attempt to refresh.

Didn't release this was a widespread problem..

Of course, one of the problems may be SDC is not even updating itself any more!

The Win Customize forums update for me, and the Galactic Council updates for all the good that is. But the regular Galactic Civilization forums won't update.

Add me to the list of dissatisfied customers. My last two auto-updates ended with some sort of error. Unfortunately, nothing looked immediately amiss, so I didn't bother to record the error. Some sort of breakpoint exception?

End transmission.

I sent email to the SDC support person and got a reply:

Hi there, the issue has been fixed internally and there should be an updated
version out within the next couple of days i hope.

Thanks,
Brian

Will someone post the link to Stardock Central support please? I can't launch Central, after it updated itself last week it won't open anymore. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled the latest version, still no success. I'd like to send a message to support so I can get back into Central. Thanks in advance.
