Favorite Firefox Extensions

So, reading Sleeping Dragon's post about Firefox, it is evident there are quite a few who use it. I use it regularly and like it, but just haven't explored the extensions much. What are folks favorite extensions? The ones that really make it a must have app. For me, Spellbound is the only one I am using really so far.

I use 'spoofstick' with Firefox. Nice little extension ...tells you whether the site you are currently on is the true domain, or spoofed.

..Still going through the Firefox extensions library myself ...there's a bunch of goodies over there

The one I use is QuickTabPrefToggle 0.0.4. It allows you to open links in a new tab instead of opening another browser.

Smiley Xtra, SpoofStick, CuteMenus, ForecastFox (used to be WeatherFox), AutoFill, and eWebMail Color and Graphics are the ones I find most useful right now.

The silliest one I have is The US Department of Homeland Insecurity Idiocy Level...completely useless, but a fun one to have nonetheless.

Forget what it's called exactly, but there is an extension that allows you to open a link in IE. Great for sites where you HAVE to use IE.

Mouse Gestures 1.0

The main site has a mouse gesture exchange area where you can find darn near every gesture to do anything you'd want. I love the extension, and it works great! You can also add whatever controls you like, and map custom gestures.

Heres the Link

I've been looking for a previous thread where this was mentioned before - no luck so far. If anyone knows it's name please post it here

I think the extension you're talking about is called ieview. I use it and love it I also use the Web Developer extension to resize the browser window and a whole heap more.

Tabbrowser Preferences, Image Zoom, Mozilla Calendar, Bookmark Backup, SpellBound, Sage (an rss aggregator), ChromEdit (user setting editor), Autohide, Firesomething (hilarious little extension which randomizes the name on the titlebar. Mine right now, is Mozilla Hyperarachnid ), Download Manager Tweak, Minesweeper, Chatzilla, Permit Cookies (keyboard shortcut to allow cookies on the fly), Foxy Tunes (puts music player controls on the status bar of FF), FireFTP, and Smiley Xtra.

Hm, I'm gonna have to go check out Firesomething, sound like fun!

Oh, and AdBlock, how could I possibly forget about AdBlock? It's a must have!

Phooey, I can't find Firesomething...perhaps it's no longer available for download?

Here's a link to the originating site Jinn Fizz:-

http://www.cosmicat.com/extensions/firesomething/

It may depend on what version of Firefox your running though as to whether it will install.

Interesting...tried to download it and got a message that it can't be installed because it's incompatible with this version of Firefox.

Thanks anyways, though, paxx...perhaps the creator will update it sometime.

ah, went through the discussion forums link and found a solution...yippee!!!

All-in-One Gestures
http://perso.wanadoo.fr/marc.boullet/ext/extensions-en.html

that's my fav(the one I use constantly, on every web page) extension for Firefox.

So much faster to navigate through webpages instead of having to move the cursor
to press buttons.

Totally rox! =D

I have alot installed but the one that I wish they would update is the one where you can recall the last tab you closed. I had it on the older version but it's no longer available for the newer.

I forget if this one is a extension or a setting. But the ability to remember all the tabs that were open when you close your browser. I like that since I have 17+ pages open at one time and when I close it, I can open them all back up again at one time.

Still looking for a spell checker extension that works with the newer version and the one that I use alot is the Dictionary extension.
