Objectdock Plus - An issue I'm having

Hi,
I love Objectdock Plus! It's ace!
Only problem I have is that I want to limit the work area (ie. the area that a maximized window takes up) so that nothing in the window is obstructed. I've tried limiting the work area in Desktop X (Which I don't really want to run anyway) but this just brings the docks in to that work area limit as well.
I can't be the only one that finds it annoying to have my windows obstructed by OD plus???
Any help would be much appreciated!!

I thought that I had suggested before to have a "limit work space" option in OD, as well as a "Make dock background the width of the screen" option. Havent seen either yet, but the work space thing would be handy. I have the freeware version of OD and I can limit the workspace and the dock doesnt move from the edge, which is perfect. It works well here. What kind of dock are you using? Tabbed or otherwise?

I've got 4 docks...although I haven't customized much yet.
Got a standard dock at the bottom, the standard plus dock at the top (for launching programs), A single tab systray dock and a shutdown dock on the sides.

I fully recommend having OD plus - it's well good, apart from this issue.

Your idea of having the dock background span the screen is a great idea....means you could make a dock that frames the whole screen, could look well ace. I hope stardock change these 2 simple but great features!

Does anyone else have anything to add??

Just something cool that might be interesting: A "turn dock" setting meaning that all the icons and stuff would be on their sides, depending which edge the dock was on, and the text is rendered vertically so that you have to turn your head sideways to read it.

Thats just another feature I thought of.

( and to think, I dont even own the prog yet! )
