ObjectDock Plus.......Problems

Ok I have uninstalled and reinstalled, Checked for viruses and even done some other things with options. For some reason Object dock keeps crashing. When I use the fly out menus, anyone can give me some advise I would appreciate it. I never had a problem with ObjectDock untill I installed "Plus". I know thier has to be a way to fix it.

I have the Latest build of ObjectDock Plus. I uninstalled the original version and than reinstalled the Plus version. I have three different Tabed docks running. When I open up one of the docks and use the fly out menu's for my pictures folder, sometimes the program crashes. It's really annoying and I cant seem to fix it. I even tried deleting the dock and doing that one over, but then I had the same result!

I must admit that it is crashing rather often. I Have a Pentium 4 3ghz With a Gig of ram. I put another fly out menu on another dock and tried it and had it crash also. Please help!

Find out what's making it crash....get rid of the Fly Menus and see if it still crashes. If it does do away with all docks except one and see what happens. If I had to guess, I think it's probably that you're running three docks w/flyouts...

Im only running fly menues on one dock. It only crashes when I use the folder that has the flyout menus.

The Fly Outs have been a problem in both beta builds for some....stop using them until they get a better handle on it in the next build.

OD+ crashes for no apparent reason, but that's what happens with beta software. I've had it crash because I told it to shutdown. I watched it crash because I sneezed.   Oddly enough, I haven't seen it crash due to Flyouts.

Just be patient, the bugs are being worked on. I'm sure it will be stable soon...  )

because I sneezed

...was that a 'beta' or a 'Released Version' sneeze?

Naw...it's Koasati's sneezing....

One thing that seems to help is to shut it down, and restart occasionally. There's a 'handle' leak that hasn't been fixed yet.

Gary... my sneezes are all 'released' versions. .

Ok... Well I broke my folder size down in content and it seems to run smoother now. I think.

ThunderBird rawks!

It's far more secure than OE, and just as simple to use. You should give it a try.

Question? Is there a way to change the font colour on the tabs for the tabbed dock.

I don't have OD+ crashing, but the darn thing is refusing to not go on top, regardless of the on top setting. Irritating to have the thing over the top of your windows while working!

It always crashes UT2004, forcing it to minimize...

It's a bug's life...

Thats funny. I have also had OD make my games crash. I think what happens is I move mouse over that area of the screen where my dock is, then the animation of the dock opening causes it to crash my game.

I wonder if this is a setting that I am over looking, or the notorios 'Beta' version crap!

Is there a way to change the colour of the font for Object dock tabs?
yes....open the *ini file for the background your using and the first two color lines pertain to the tab text color and shadow
