Back when Adam was a pup it was particularly bad form to 'demand' help of any sort.

 

Try a little patience, and please refrain from capitalizing each and every syllable, etc as with this thread title.....it's worse than all-caps.

The screenshot is from Pixel Pirate's Ascension WB entry at the GUIO's. He did not include the wallpaper in the skin, and it has not been posted here by Pixel Pirate. I don't recognize the wall myself, and can't see enough of it in the screenshot to even make a very good guess at the origin. You've said that you emailed him, and I can see that you have left several requests for it at the GUIO's, so hopefully, he will respond to you soon.

But I have to say that I agree with most of the rest of those here in that your whole approach seems unnecessarily rude and demanding, and frankly is an unlikely way to get you much sympathy or assistance.

I cant understand anything in the shot.

I agree with this. one can do anything in frustration. I would probably hit my head in the wall.

I've had a busy week, so there wasn't much time to look into this.

As posted on the GUIO site: The wall is called ICU1-0 I think...as I recall I found it browsing DA. I can't remember who did it, it's a cute alien guy on a background. Nothing special really. I couldn't include it in my skin since I didn't make it

Now that I'm on the topic, check out the update on the Ascension skin and see if the more programs arrow have been fixed. A compact start menu have been added too.

Well, I'm glad you finally got the wall.

I guess some people don't understand cordiality and kindness.
I get a few requests myself, and if I don't respond in a day or two,
I get nasty follow-ups when I do respond.
I don't sit at my computer expecting people to email me.
I am not customer support for skins that I do.
I just made a few things for myself and I shared them with the community,
hoping that someone would like them too and maybe use them for awhile.
No one pays me for anything that I submit, and I spend weeks making a skin sometimes.
Yet, someone can spend ten minutes downloading, and yet
they can't take ten seconds to leave a nice comment. I mean look at the skins here.
Mostly, you will see 10,000 downloads and maybe 30 comments.
Still, you find the artists trying to be quite kind and helpful
to the few who do leave a comment, mostly when they have a problem or need help.
And a lot of time, you get really nasty comments or impatient people expecting you do reply to their
needs promptly, or expecting you to be able to fix all their computer problems.
When, you have no idea what they have done to their computers, and they don't want to
give you any information about it. I expect a lot of nasty replies to this message as well.
But, I guess this is the way of the world.

Yep, and this is why we have jails. This is why we have rapes and murders too.
But, is that an excuse for any such behavior? Is your frustration, or anyones frustration,
an excuse to be rude to someone else? And, is such behavior really going to help one
get anything resolved faster? There is a better way. It is called patience and kindness.
Personally, from this moment on, I am just not going to reply to anyone who is being rude or nasty.
Maybe after a while, they will get a clue.

Chasugc. naaah, they will just get nastier.

Treat others how you would like to be treated.
