Who is 'they' ....what have you 'payed for' [sic] and what 'place' are you referring to?

you might want to get in touch with the sales staff Bonnie Bell.
It sounds like you haven't cross referenced your account yet.
You also might consider getting a popup blocking program to take care of that annoying little problem you're having with popup ads.

oh, and for future reference, if you have purchased something and it doesn't work, it's common practice to contact the support staff of that particular product, and get proper help.
Whining and slinging insults on a messageboard where the majority of the readers and responders are strong advocates of the product is never going to produce happy results.

Hmm. If you payed for everything, you wouldn't get shareware signs.

If your computer freezes then I think you have other stuff on your computer that might be causing your problem. It's called spyware. Scan your system with Spybot. It's free.

Um, you might want to make sure you've done your "homework" before you accuse anyone of trying to cheat you. First, it sounds like you have the shareware version...since you didn't even bother to mention what program you're talking about in your little rant, I'm going to guess it's WindowBlinds. If you paid for it, here's a relevant question: did you uninstall the shareware version of the program and then use the link Stardock mailed to you to download and install the full "enhanced" registered version of WindowBlinds? If you didn't that's likely one source of your problem right there. If you did, provide more information precisely about what program you're talking about and what action you took besides just paying for it.

Just a bit of advice, first be clear about what you've done and find out, if you haven't already, what you need to do to correctly install the registered version of the program. Then if you have problems, send a polite email to Stardock support explaining your problems and ask for assistance. Don't come here just to complain that "they" are trying to cheat you and not even provide enough information so that if someone wanted to help you they'd have a difficult time doing so.

Many of the posters here use Stardock products without any problems and know the company and staff well enough to know that they are a reputable company who do try to support their products and customers and are not interested in "cheating" anyone.

As for not being able to download, did you make sure that your WC account has the same address that you used to purchase whatever product you purchased? Doing so "cross references" your accounts so that you won't have a download cap to deal with.

As for computer freezes, what OS are you using? My first guess is you might have other stuff on your pc that might be contributing to that but since you provide no useful information it's impossible to tell.

If you have problems, clearly explain what they are and politely ask for help. Don't start off with false accusations since many people here know as a result of dealings with staff that WC/SD is not trying to cheat anyone.
