APPLE KEYNOTE for Windows

Has anyone considered how windows users can use Apple Keynote?
Apple Keynote is now the father and leader of powerpoint presentations, easily and blindly beating MS powerpoint in creating cinema-quality presentations with professional-caliber themes, razor-sharp text and beautiful charts and tables with 3d transitions..

it´s a killer application. Apple would be stupid to port it.
it needs Quartz. there is no Quartz for Windows.

so:
buy a Mac.

or:
learn Flash, pretty cool for presentations as well.

Flash 7 (MX 2004) now can be designed using a slide-based design (each slide can have its own timeline) rather than a one-timeline as before. Quite cool.
Also, Macromedia has Breeze, which can make very cool presentations too.

Powerpoint works fine for me.

Of course, it depends what your needs are. Powerpoint is fine for in-house presentations, or informal meetings.  But when you want to impress the gallery, Powerpoint doesn't cut it.
Since the last two years, most of what I make are Flash presentations for clients who want a killer presentation. They want jaw dropping visuals, animations and special effects for huge sales pitches, or for important speeches in major congresses.  Funny, the Hollywood trend for always better special effects is moving to the conference room.

um. powerpoint makes slideshows. not movies.

now, with a background in macromedia Director, you can go at powerpoint with animations and interactive objects in mind nad really create some stunning things. not bad, in my opinion, considering a complete neophyte can make a function presentation next to a hardened pro in the same program.

agreeing with pax. if you're contracted out to do a presentation - jaw ping stuff is flash/director. you also get high levels of interactibity. i'm going to be doing some flash buisness cards soon.
