I was a silly console gamer....but in 2001 I got my first PC (the slightly upgraded one I use right now) and I quickly realized how inferior the console was and sold my PS2. Now I play the likes of Halo, Rise Of Nations and GTA3, the first and last of which are far superior to their console versions. I couldn't go back to consoles now, they just aren't good enough for me. It would be too hard for me to get captivated by console games like I have with Diablo II, Morrowind or Rise Of Nation. I still think MGS2 was a remarkable game on PS2, but it was too short (my record on the first half was 13 mins) and GT3 was a great game too, but better alternatives can be found on PC. The PC's magazine is better too! PC Gamer kicks the sh*t out of PSM!
I have to make another point about a game someone mentioned earlier- Civ 3- This game is, WITHOUT A DOUBT, the WORST game EVER made. As much as I tried to like this game I just couldn't, to this day I cannot understand how it got the reviews it did, it deserves about 5%, and that is pushing it.
But right now I play RoN mostly, I'm trying to get my hands on Knights Of The Old Republic, I have waited too long for this kind of Star Wars game to come along!
