I'm going to buy Object Desktop next weekend

However, I see IconPackager 2.5 avail. Is that on the Object Desktop CD? How is the 2.5 version different that what is on the CD? (if it's different)

When you get the cd, you also get the code to download newer products of object desktop off of stardock central. with that you can get the newest beta releases. right now the icon packager version that I have is 2.50.082 and I got it through sdc (stardock central) with my object desktop subscription.

Welcome aboard...getting OD...the initial investment stings a little. But it is ever addicting, the longer you have it, the more bits and pieces of it you start using and soon the pain goes away and then you are assimilated
