Start 11 v2 - Should it Show My Account Picture

Hi - Start11 v2 - Windows 11 - I have an account picture configured for my Windows 11 computer.  It is working and shows up where it should.  However, it does not show up on the bottom left of the Start11 Menu next to my name.  Should it show up there? All that is there is the generic "person" picture.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Which Start11 Style you're using? Windows 11? Please post a screenshot of your Start11 Start panel so we can understand it better.

It's the Windows 11 menu.  (I don't see where you add a screenshot in the replies?)

Great, thank you for the screenshot. That is strange. Have you tried rebooting? and, If you left click on your name does the correct menu popup? And if you left click on Change account settings, does your avatar appear in the setting->Account->Your info page?

I rebooted after my last post and my account picture showed up on the Start11 menu.  Problem solved.  Thanks.

Mine show a black circle and not the picture.  In all other parts of windows the profile picture is fine except for in Start11.

  1. Windows full version and OS Build numbers. Use Winver.exe
  2. Start11 full version numbers.
  3. Have you tried rebooting the system?

Start11 Ver. 2.08

Yes rebooted, uninstalled and reinstalled as well.  Profile picture shows up everywhere else in windows but not in Start11.

All I get is this Black circle.

Few more details.

  1. Do you see same/correct user picture on your default Windows 11 Start panel?
  2. Do you have other 3rd party application installed that also change how your Startpanel/Taskbar/Explorer work?

Also, if possible, please share your user picture file so that I can varify if its not issue from the picture file itself.

Would like to suggest to test on Windows Sandbox: https://forums.stardock.com/505872/start11-support-faq#windowssandbox. See if the User picture appear in Start11 Start menu in the Sandbox.
